The slushy machine in the cell sounds like the start of a running gag - every so often throw in a bit of unexpected luxury, like a corner sauna, or a small hottub.

Logan: *as Scott facepalms* Blood samples, Charlie. Must have gotten a taste of all of us with the likely exception of Poitr.

Poitr: That is oddly formal of you. Should I even inquire?

Logan: What? Kitty went and hooked up with Wisdom so Petey's taken and I got Peter reserved for when someone of our mutual acquaintance can be more open with us.

Poitr: Da? Alright, then. And I see what you mean. In all honestly, though, it's a relief to be someone other than Sinister for a change...

Okay the waterfall scene was straight out creepy. In my 20s I would have checked every one until it killed me. Chomp. Double plus years old me would think about it and maybe check a few. There still may be chomp but it would make a cool tombstone.

This is too cracky to not be updated in five years! It’s a riot to read and I want to see Tony get his ass handed to him.

...you realize that your SI is dealing with Tony Stark, not Norman Osborn, right? i mean, i'm far from a fan of 616 Tony (Civil War arc pretty much soured me on him), but this is extremely excessive even for him. hell, it'd be excessive for Nick Fury.

Just found this got to the bottom of page 2 and now I want to cry about the fact this fics is almost probably dead.
