The language in this story is very beautiful.

I only really understood this the second time I read it.

And I love your style of writing - it portrays Matt's laid-backness (what), it shows how he doesn't really care about much, and, most of all, all the subtle little hints and things - I loved the 'one fingered wave to the cop who busts him at the 7-11 on Tuesday night'.

Great job. :)
