You know, I reeeaaaally feel like Sam did not need to be added to the character list (Character A,B,C or D). He had, what? One line? Please, if he's not a primary part of your fic, don't add him to the character roster-list. It makes is VERY difficult for people who are searching for fics with Sam as a main character.
