Im not entirely sure how to say this without being over blunt/vulgar, but this chapter tickled my pickle. It was satisfying without being grandeur or over the top exciting. You've written very beautifully in this chapter. I dont know if I have always been oblivious to it (I have to go reread your works, super bummed I have to do that nowor you put extra into your descriptive writing but I loved it! Like when you wrote "Some tenacious embers were still whispering in the fire.." Embers freaking do that! They whisper! I can see every camp fire I remember and all the embers are Whispering!
You're very talented and I have enjoyed every story I have read of yours. Thank you for keeping this one going, I think its one of my favorites.

Ok so like this is my first time ever leaving a comment, I’ve read isolation, and haunted and freaking love them. I’m falling in love with this one too. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

So far I love this story, your writing is lovely. We know everything will crash on his head at some point but getting there is so much fun. I love the way you write the two of them, in fact everyone stays very much how I would see them as they get older. I think my favorite part of how you write Draco is you didn’t wax poetic about this changed man who is now a pillar of society, we see the quiet ways he’s changed yet still he’s clearly affected by his past. He’s not all sunshine and rainbows. I can’t imagine he would have been. He was the opposite of Harry, the child whose destiny was predetermined by his birth, yet on the other side of the story. There would be little understanding or acceptance for him after all was said and done. A lot of self hate, and locking himself away. You keep him in character. This chapter was sweet and your much too hard on yourself!

This chapter is so sweet and sets up lots of future plot points. I’m quite curious to learn how the gryffindor crew reacts to news of “jane’s” new beau. I’m really enjoying this fic.

Awwwwwww He’s glad she’s here! That’s a huge step for draco to admit, especially in light of his misgivings as he approached her door. Lovely development here!
