This was a fun story, I would love to read a sequel if you decided to write one. It feels so wrong to leave Ace with the Marines, especially knowing that they would likely reject him more than the 'evil pirates' would if they discovered his heritage. Though perhaps Marco could help him realize that.
I love how you incorporated a little ASL into the plot, it gives the story a little more depth and raises the stakes.

Awe, this was sad, but happy at the same time, and I loved Ace's nicknames for Marco xD though I'm sad Ace didn't go with him :c YOU BETTER WRITE THOSE SEQUELS! I jest, but still, if you ever want write them, I would totally not be upset (; thanks for writing!

One of the best stories I have ever read I mean it was just wonderfull

I absolutely love their relationship. I mean most people go for the one- deny their feels for thirty chapters just to have steemy sex and realize they loved each other the whole time or two- the have sex two days after the meet and live happily ever after with a couple chapters of depression, daddy issues, and the marines ( mostly akuina) being total doushbag sucking genital pieces.
But you not you. You have one I the sweetest most realist in a unrealistic world romances I have seen and I absolutely love it.
It is absolutely genius when he realizes that ace helped him escape

Also after dropping enough hints for me to check for the next chapter every day for the next month you had better well write a sequal ( if you love your readers cuase we all love you and you work)

Ps I laughed my ass off everytime he calls him fluffy. Partially cuase I kept imagining that once Marco took him to the moby dick ( which I am praying will eventually happen) that ace would slip up and call him that at some serious moment and Marco would never live it down for actually responding. I mean just imagine the look on his face( :
