I never understood why people think Kagome’s eyes are blue? I’ve read many fanfics where they describe her eyes as blue, when they’re so clearly brown in the anime. Is that a manga thing?

Wow. You managed to capture their love-hate relationship, making them "the couple from hell who can't stand to be away from each other." The emotions were intense, borderline problematic, but it's InuKag, so it works, so beautifully, so insanely, so wonderfully. Plus, I can imagine Inuyasha's fury is mostly stemmed from the 3-year-separation, so it would only fuel his already short temper. Beautifully written.
