It's been many months since I've picked up fanfic, particularly yours, and I'd forgotten just how comfortable and RIGHT your fic always feels. Doesn't feel like reading a story that some fan made up. No, it's more like seeing an extension of the show unfold right before my eyes. Perfect. And thank you.

Great additional scene of Dean taking extra-good care of his brother when the younger one was in need of that more than anything. That said, Dean seemed to need what was counting for comfort in return as well, what with Sammy giving at least a few coherent answers.

"And didn't even blink at Dean not letting go of his brother's hand the whole time." Yeah well, I guess Bobby's used to pretty much anything with the Winchester boys by now. hehe

Keep writing because I enjoyed this story.

Naw, Bobby wouldn't care about the hand-holding. I reckon he'd expect it in that circumstance. I think Dan and Sam both needed the contact at that point. :D

Of course, this h/c pushes all the right buttons with me. :D

So very excited to see you'd posted again! This was a wonderful story. I particularly liked the interaction between the boys regarding the blanket apology, "Screw the apology," Dean said with quiet vehemence. (I love that description. So Dean!) "We saved the freaking world, Sam. They owe us." Sam actually exhaled a laugh at that. "That working for you?" Dean didn't miss a beat. "Not for, like, even a second. But you keep telling yourself, and I will, too, deal?"

I like the idea of that interaction, but the way you execute it; the words you use to express and explain your ideas are always subtle, powerful and amazingly descriptive. Always a joy to read one of your works. Thanks for posting this one, as usual, I'm looking forward to the next! : )

I was just reading your story again and realized I never thanked you for sharing it with us, (or put it on my favorites list)
We didn't get to see many brothers moments last season, so it was nice to visit a past season and 'see' Dean and Sam through your words.
I like your explanation about an angel helping Sam find his brother and Bobby.
I had to laugh when Bobby arrived in 'biggest tow truck Dean had ever seen', of course he would find a comfortable and the best truck for 'his boys'.

That was really good. I loved how you did the part after this episode and Dean holding Sam while Sam started to tell him things he remembered. I really loved the part at the end where a part of Sam always believed those words and a part of Dean would if Sam would. Great one-shot.
