I just discover this story and I really enjoyed it. Your OC is cute and all, I like her personality and how she interacts with the other characters. And the plot is nice too, there isn't many fanfic in the FF9 fandom, so it's good to see another good one.

I have played the game many times, read many stories that involve self inserts or original characters, but so far this is the best of yet. I'm really liking your story so far. Although I'm really confused over the slightly misogynistic Steiner: to me everything about Alexandria points it to being a matriachal nation, considering the huge majority of the army being complied of women (as opposed to the nine Knights of Pluto which make up the male portion of the army) and General Beatrix being higher in the chain of command then he is. So to me I see Steiner as being incredibly respectful of the women as they have (and earned) more power, slightly envious as it shows in the game but not spiteful over it.

Sorry, just while I understand some people see Steiner as a frustrating character, him being misogynistic is something I never saw him as.

Apart from that, I really want to see how Alex and Airlia develop over the story so keep at it.

I think you should break canon. It'll be less predictable that way! I like you story so far too!
