After some thought, Danny came off as rather ignorant in the conversation with the ancient ghosts. This isn't the 14 or 15 year old Danny from the show here, it's been 10 years since Reign Storm and he's 24(the same age as Dan was actually).

While he should have remained ignorant about Pariah's role in creating the various landmasses in the Ghost Zone as there's no reason for Danny to learn that while Pariah was still sealed away, Danny should know full well that powerful ghosts can shape ectoplasm into lesser ghostly servants(Fright Knight did it during the Halloween episode, Pariah did it to create his soldiers, and Nocturn did it to create his sleepwalker goons) as well as shape ectoplasm into various constructs, heck during the show, the ability to shape ectoplasm was how Danny created shields and ball or disk shaped ectoblasts.

As well as Dan creating that ecto-rope he snagged Danny with and the wide variety of constructs Vlad made, from swords and ropes to cages and bubble traps and even a giant racket one time like a poor man's green lantern.

Actually, if you compare the rope Dan used on Danny with the rope over the Nasty Burger with the rope Vlad used on the Behemoth, Vlad's probably even better at shaping, manipulating and controlling ectoplasm then Dan is(even if Dan still has far more raw power). In fact I wouldn't be surprise if Vlad's skill with such, in addition to his 20 years of growth giving him greater power reserves and physical abilities then what Danny had in the show, was one of the main reasons for him being more powerful then Danny, why his ectoblasts were more powerful, why he could form such powerful shields in an instant, all those duplicates he could make or even that one time in his very first episode where he actually caught one of Danny's ectoblasts, absorbed it and then redirected it back at Danny.

Anyway I digress, the point I'm making is that this is 24 year old Danny, and unless he just stopped getting better with his powers after PP, then even if he's not quite at Vlad's level of skill with making Ecto-Energy Constructs, then he should at least be at Dan's level and already know much of what Pandora and the others were talking about, about the malleability of ectoplasm both from his own experiences fighting ghosts as well as from his own personal abilities.
