Oh, this was so good. Sam's angst about how their whole lives could have been fake was so perfect and so in character. Sam - always the thinker. He just needs to analyse and dissect every piece of info, right?
The bit about ? I didn't see that coming and totally didn't see it that way. It was probably because I wasn't into wincest when I first watched the episode (I was a late comer. I started the show with S5 when S7 was airing). But, yeah. Dr. Sexy is tall and has longish-black hair and is well built. Yeah. I can totally see why Dean has a crush on him. Does he have dimples too? I wonder if that was Kripke's subtle way of hinting at Wincest?

You made me cry with that. It's been so long in the show that Dean says "I'll take care of you" to Sam. Sam wouldn't really believe it anyway. He would know that his brother would to his best to keep him safe but, with all that's happened, even Dean's best won't be enough to give him a happy ending. It's just fucking sad.

Maybe Gabe was trying to put an early stop to all this somehow.

Omgggggggggg. Ok, this was EPIC. It really was. I can't tell you how much I looooove goofy drunk SamAndDean. It was all just perfect.

The first part. Pooooor Dean. He just wanted some lovin' but that skeevy witch had to go break Sam's dick. Pooor Dean. That's just cruel. But I loved that whole scene. I love that despite all the crap, they're in such a great place with each other right now.

THANK YOU. I mean it. Thank you soooo much for including what I feel is one of the most pivotal scenes of the series in this tag. Gabriel does things to me and that speech? Is glorious. I'm not going to ramble on and on about it because you know how I feel about it. But just the idea of Sam and Dean being created for this purpose, for everything that's happened to them to be just another step to get them where they're at, Sam's right, it's just so big.

The conversation in the car was perfect. I know it wasn't in the show but I could just picture it happening. And omg, Cas. Haha I don't know if it was meant to be funny but Cas just piping up in the backseat "I didn't know about any of this." makes me giggle every time. And Dean ripping into Cas while Sam is saying "Dean." was just THEM. Sam's freakout was beautiful. He doesn't lose it to often but when he does? Guh. I loved how he was panicking and Dean was trying to be calm, which we all know means that Dean was horrified and pissed and keeping it hidden behind his mask. You're just so damn good at characterization that it honestly takes my breath away sometimes. I think that why I enjoy your fics so much. I think that's why they're so brilliant. Every word, every action, every expression and thought is just so spot on.

Ok. The bar. Holy crap. THANK YOU. Again. Sammy moping and pouting and his hopelessness and then taking a dig at Dean and promptly apologizing. Typical little brother Sammy behavior. But then when they finally reached the point of drunk, omg. The guns, the bartender, Dean tipping over, Sam speaking all adorably drunk. It was hilarious. I had to read that scene three times because I just couldn't get enough. Dr. Sexy. Hahahahahaha Oh! And the Mystery Spot discussion! *glomps you* Thank you for that! I always did find it odd that he took Dean for 6 months to prepare him for losing him for 4 months. In retrospect, it's soooo obvious that Gabriel was, like all the other demons, angels and monsters, trying to break their bond, sever their connection, make it ok for them to be able to live without each other. It really does say something about their bond when all the freaks in Heaven, Hell, and Earth go to such lengths to try to break it. If you think about how they were created for this purpose but were also created as soulmates...in SPN world, it sure doesn't seem like God was wanting them to lose this fight. Because seriously, WHY would he make them soulmates and then expect them to kill each other? the only logical conclusion is that God himself didn't really want them to lose. I can picture him thinking "Well, they're being created for this clusterfuck BUT I'm gonna give them a secret weapon." And then laughs maniacally. Ok, I'm getting off track here. This was such an enjoyable tag, you definitely did this episode justice with this one. And then, of course, you just couldn't resist stabbing us in the heart with that last paragraph. Dean telling Sammy "I got you" and Sam tearing up and remembering Dean doing that when they were kids to stop Sammy's nightmares...I bet that was one thing the angels never planned to happen. This was just beautiful. Thank you sooooooo much for this. *HUGE HUGS*
