Just finished reading this. Since this is a 2014-2015 story., I doubt you will read this. But anyway, this was such a nice story! I cried, I laughed, it brought so many emotions to me. The way the story is told is also amazing and detailed. You're a great writer, keep up the good work! 3

Dude. This story was absolutely fantastic. Beyond fantastic. You captured the love story between a jew and a nazi so perfectly, it was scary. I respect you for actually doing your research throughout this story and educating the audience of the importance and sensitivity of their time period. I cried, laughed, cheered, moured, laughed and wept some more. Thank you so much for this diamond. Truly a story I will never forget.

I really love your story. It triggered so many emotions in me and I can't express how great this story was. It was a tragic love story with a happy ending and it was marvelous. I usually never comment on fics but this one I just had to say something about despite it having many reviews.
I need to be honest, being German I was originally disgusted by the premise of this story. It just felt really wrong to me to insert cartoon characters and their gay little story into a scenario like this. I read the first two chapters and felt sick. Not because it was handled badly but you were taking it all seriously and it brought back the horrible feelings I've had in the past about these events happening in my country. You see, German children early on learn about the horrors of their country and you inevitably feel guilty. Think about that however you will but I'm sure I'm not the only German person having strong feelings about our history. Back to the story, I don't like EVERYTHING about it but I need to praise it. Your descriptions of the places and events felt so real. I felt like I was right there, feeling the characters pain. You were respectful with the history and I love how you wove so many facts into the story. My favourite part had to be when Kyle was giving the passports to the 82 people leaving the camp, especially when he spoke to them in their language, I almost wanted to cri. Another part I really liked was Kyle's dream on the night he took opium. You are an amazing writer and this could be it's own story if you took away the South Park characters. I would have preferred a more bittersweet ending though with Kyle accepting Cartmans death. I truly believe he deserved to die, I can't sympathize with him at all.

The falling in love part is pretty good but Eric still deserves to die in the end. He never really changes alegences. Honistly he is a legitimate monster in this story - even after falling in love.

I really enjoyed the AU - and enjoying Kyman was a given!

I almost forgot to review this because I usually never review. Which is a terrible mistake on my part, especially since I write fanfiction myself and knows how much this means.
I just want to start off by saying that I'm a vast admirer of most things dark and twisted. So when I got into the Kyman fandom, I immediately south out the fanfics. This one was very high on the list and caught my attention immediately. It's my second fanfiction with Cartman and Kyle, but I'm fairly certain it'll continue to be my favorite.
Firstly, I want to applaud you for rewriting an entire fanfiction. That's dedication right there.
Secondly, when handling a subject like this, it's very easy to either tilt to the much too dark and realistic side or tilt to the overly idealistic, unrealistic happy side. And you managed to stay perfectly balanced. You never pretended that the events of WW2 never happened nor were anything less than revolting.
You never wrote Cartman as a "poor little bad boy with a broken heart". You wrote him as something dark, twisted, but with enough redeemable actions and characteristics to make him likable.
And you never wrote Kyle as a naive idiot, but as someone who stayed true to himself even while falling in love with a man he knew he was supposed to despise. And he kept hating him even while loving him.
Thirdly, I don't think I've ever cried for a half hour straight because of a piece of fiction. Ever. Big applause there... and I think I'll end it with that applause.
I'm not very good at reviewing, but I hope I managed to tell you just how much I love this story. Despite its controversy, and I'm sure there's been people who have "called you out" on it, this is something you should be very proud of. It was absolutely amazing and chilling from start to finish.
