Loved this story, it could have been an episode. Loved the drama and twists and turns, especially your twist on the tale of the Headless Horsman and Ichabod Crane. A really gripping and entertaining read :)

I've read a lot of your stories recently, and I have to say I've enjoyed them immensely - this one was no exception. It's been said before, but I like how they read like an episode. The twist you put on the legend of the Headless Horsemen and Ichabod Crane was awesome!

I love Dean the older brother so overprotective and how he takes care of Sammy, and feel guilty if something happens to your brother
And Sammy is simply adorable with sa innocence, like him using his puppy eyes, and how his brother always gives to these eyes, but when it involves the safety Dean does not fall in this
And as he is watching to see if he's eating

I loved this story and the ending was amazing
The Dean comforting Sammy the hospital was perfect
As I said before, we need more stories like this

OMG! I LOVE that plan! Sam volunteering not just to be bait, but with his hands tied (ALWAYS a good thing) AND with a guy who'd just as soon kill him...Oh, yeah. Definitely an awesome plan - from a reader's perspective anyway, LOL!

Great couple of chapters! You did a wonderful job of capturing Dean's fear and anxiety in trying to deal with his condition, and the communications between them was wonderful. Loved that the horseman was not malevolent...just unaware and focused on his own issue. And the action sequence at the end...damn! Nothing ever goes easy for our guys, does it!

Whoa! Nifty twist there! A bit of time shifting and...I dunno...an Under the Dome sorta thing? So...hmm...why did they make it out? the iron of the car? And why didn't the car disappear along with the electrical outlets and the TV...hmm...maybe just the stuff that was already there changed. Sam still had his laptop. Okay. I don't usually leave these kinds of speculative reviews, but you've obviously captured my imagination but good!

I saw this was finished and was just waiting for a chance to sit down and start it! Been in needed of a good, longer, basic hunt casefic so this will do very nicely, and I love your opening...especially getting to see them at work hustling pool. We don't get nearly enough of that, and I loved your detail...and Dean trying to seem a stranger, but still watch out for Sam when he knew something was wrong...Loved it. Great start.

Having someone who would jump in front of a bullet for you? Mixed blessing, I think.

This was great. I'm a sucker for a good Sam and Dean brotherly love story, and I just loved this. I also enjoyed the Headless Horseman storyline. Classic American horror story that really should have come up in Supernatural before. The twist where the Horseman wasn't actually the bad guy was a nice touch.
Also, had you not mentioned on your profile that English isn't your first language, I would never have known-this is very nicely written.
