she should have been told sooner as in known her whole life. her and Elrond would have been happier. Elrond would have shed the guilt along time ago and kalia wouldn't have felt like a ward as much. any anger would have been resolved along time ago. and maybe thranduil wouldn't have sunk so deep into despair. I haven't read the other story so im curious as too what her mother was.

kalia was a little harsh, but glorfindel was wrong in sending her away while preganat. there are many dangers traveling and she was alone. so maybe not so harsh but she shouldn't let him dwell too much on it. the old man was Gandalf. the other wizards don't travel really. thranduil and legolas must defiantly go to Rivendell. maybe Elrond can help him alittle bit. great chapter short but great

Beautifully done! It broke my heart when Thranduil was confused on Kalia and her mother.

Ugh..the part when she makes him feel her son inside of her...that was heartbreaking. Very good!

You wrote this chapter so perfectly. I have never read a more perfect description of wants her to know him...but he seems so...broken!

awesome chapter. it was drastic but neccecasy for legolas and kalia to show the grave and body of thranduils wife to him. it was dangerous what he was thinking. he may have commited an ultimate sin against his somewhat daughter. but he doesn't want to face it still it seems. time will tell. I hop ehe gets better. he may need to sail though.

great chapter. I don't find thranduil completely mad more grief driven but so far its just been on the surface. she is too much like her mother of course its going to stir things. is Elrond her father? I see no other reason why she would be in Rivendell with him. does make things difficult but wouold explain why Elrond doesn't want to tell kalia. elves mate for life seduceing a married ellith would be almost shameful. looking forward to more chapters.
