Guest chapter 1 . 8/1/2017 To quote JKR from Pottermore: 'For all this, Draco remains a person of dubious morality in the seven published books, and I have often had cause to remark on how unnerved I have been by the number of girls who fell for this particular fictional character (although I do not discount the appeal of Tom Felton, who plays Draco brilliantly in the films and, ironically, is about the nicest person you could meet). Draco has all the dark glamour of the anti-hero; girls are very apt to romanticise such people. All of this left me in the unenviable position of pouring cold common sense on ardent readers’ daydreams as I told them, rather severely, that Draco was not concealing a heart of gold under all that sneering and prejudice' The short version for you: -Draco/Ginny is rubbish -The Ferret is an arshole -you are just some stupid Fangirl with a crush on Felton |
quadjot chapter 1 . 3/26/2016 I'm so happy with the way you handled their relationshipit wasn't easy, she didn't appreciate him forcing himself on her despite herself, but you still made him sympathetic. |
Dustyn chapter 1 . 3/15/2016 Oooh train hook up! |
newdog14 chapter 1 . 8/17/2015 Love it! They're so cute! I love your take on this ship.3 |
Guest chapter 1 . 3/20/2015 I don't even have words to describe the joy that's filling up inside me right now, this fic is incredible :') really liked the concept of repeating the story at the end only now it's the princess who saves the prince. Good job! :) |
neyma chapter 1 . 1/10/2015 Awws, so sweet! Very well written, although I felt like I could have used some more insight into Draco's mind at the end. |
darkorangegreen chapter 1 . 7/12/2014 Brilliant one-shot! You have a unique way of writing Draco and Ginny, it's quite refreshing. I loved how you build up to the last scene, nothing felt out of place. Excellent work with this :) |
musicprincess1990 chapter 1 . 7/3/2014 "She believed men and women were equal to a point but were also vastly different, and there was nothing wrong or degrading about being unequal." THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS LINE! That is exactly how I feel! And this is such a cute story! I love the little twist :) Great work! |
Boogum chapter 1 . 6/22/2014 Oh wow, I loved this (and you just reminded me all over again why I love your writing). Really nice blend of humour, romance and drama. Beautiful writing, as usual, and the dialogue was spot-on. I also loved the use of the fairy tale "kiss" cliché. I spotted two typos in there, but nothing major. I wish I could quote my favourite parts, but I've forgotten how to copy/paste again, haha. Ginny's voyeur behaviour cracked me up, and I like how you didn't go overly sappy with the drama or the romance. Like I said, a really nice blend. Great stuff! |
Soft Kitty Song chapter 1 . 6/21/2014 It's been a while since you've wrote for this fandom, hasn't it? But I loved Scandal so hard so I knew this would be good too, and I wasn't wrong. This was perfection. You managed to combine UST, angst, humour and even a little action (go, Ginny!). I love how you handle tropes and cliches. It's so refreshing, like how ultimately Draco is the damsel in distress (emotional distress) and Ginny's the hero prince(ss). You managed to keep Ginny perfectly in character and show both of her sides, the girlish and the tomboyish. Plus Draco is complex here. Sometimes I want to slap him other times I want to swoon. And Ginny's ability to later understand him and those kisses he craves (and why) is even more wonderful. This was a great read. :)) - Kitty |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/21/2014 perfect! |
Catnipob chapter 1 . 6/18/2014 Awwww, I love it! Thoughtful, sad, happy, intriguing and ultimately satisfying! Thank you :o) |
Nova.8 chapter 1 . 6/17/2014 Oh, I enjoyed this. It played on the emotions very well. I really related with Ginny and pondering how a strong, independent female still romanticised some things. Like that mind numbing kiss. We want to feel something! And then you had Draco going and kissing all those trollops just because he's feeling empty and he wants to feel. Oh how he wants to feel something. I feel for him. Hah, how many feels are in that. Eeep. Anyway, what I loved here was how realistic Draco and Ginny's first kiss was considering your time frame. She disliked him intently and it stands to reason she would be pissed off with him for stealing her first kiss. I do believe she hadn't kissed Michael simply because of her reaction to kissing Dean in the HBP when Ron and Harry find her. She said something about Hermione snogging Viktor and Harry, Cho. So for me I think her first kiss was Dean in canon. I loved seeing Ginny fiesty and throwing her book at him, her temper is one of the things I love most about her because she can stand up for herself. She can be vulnerable but with her stubborn streak and temper she can defend herself too. She makes such a lovely heroine. The slug was classic and really, I think every D/G should have a good slap or punch in it! ;-) the end was great, him returning her book with the green tie and for me it felt like when she told him to stay away from her after he kissed her and she decked him was because he actually respected her enough to listen to her. When she went to thank him in his compartment and he told that Tandy or whatever he didn't want her, that was perfect. Ginny removing the "poison apple" from him was brilliant and I think that she did make him feel! Of course I do. Loved it. |
