So...how have I missed your stories! You Whump John but good..though he is unaware..and I just love the TLC He receives from all...your Elizabeth is spot on! Everything about her emotions are so true t her character! While I think she would feel this way if any member of her expedition were hurt...John is special and I detect that 'Sparky' connection! Loved it!

Lovely (tho heartbreakingly hard on our beloved Sheppard!) I do feel the "Sparky" in all of Elizabeth's thoughts even if it's only on her side. Makes me cry (good tears) when we know he's on the way to healing & so is she. :)

When you whump Shep, you really go for it! I could almost feel Atlantis and everyone on her holding their breath until John was going to be ok. The team reacted exactly as expected, right down to Ronan's foot on the bed and poor Elizabeth...John sure gives her plenty to worry about and a few early grey hairs!

Very nicely done. I do like the hint of shipping. Nothing overt. The story flowed well and the lack of dialogue fit perfectly. So many things to be said on the part of Elizabeth, so much more to not say.

Better late then never I suppose... This was so heart felt and vivid, I'm almost sure I felt the wet stuff welling in the corner of my eye *sniff*

You have captured Elizabeth perfectly.
The on the outside the strong leader, showing strenghth and yes courage to her people that they see her strenghth and take from that to continue and go forward.

To Elizabeth on the inside fractured, hurting and scared that John her friend, and the man that she loves as yes a friend but so much more is possibly dying and so is /will she if he does. Yet she can't let that be seen for she is the leader that must show, keep it together, show her strenghth their strenghth.

To at the end John waking up and just the smile and a look to her lets her /him know that they will be ok.

I really love this one! I had no trouble putting myself in Elizabeth's place, seeing what she did, experiencing the emotions she did...I'm an RN and probably realize more than most of your readers just what all was involved here. I think that made it all the more "real" to me. Thank you ...hope I can help your "crazy girl muse" be well fed, because I'd love to have her come out and play some more!
