Why would you do this to Killer Crocs baby mama?

Batman should not be telling anyone off for "playing hero" considering he repeatedly tosses people like Joker into the revolving door known as Arkham knowing they are just going to break out again and again killing more people each time.

Honestly i just wanted the team to declare the Titans were as of that moment their own team no longer under the Leagues authority, that Jump City was under their protection, and that since Batman doesn't like other heroes in his city he can just get the fuck out of their's. Maybe without the strong language. Maybe.

The final battle was pretty good. I liked how the bad guys resorted to using the slaves as hostages as opposed to overwhelming them with numbers. The final battle with Trigon was fun as well, seeing the Titans battle possessed DC characters, especially ones they would normally be no match for. That canon thing that Kyle used was hilarious and at the same time quite clever; loading up his own teammates/enemies and firing them far away.
Raven vs Trigon was definitely the highlight, using emotions of all things to win. And it was cool to see BB give her support.
What you really did well in that regard was Raven sacrificing herself. For a bit, I was thinking you really were going to kill her. I would and wouldn't have minded if you did; it would have been heroic way to go and carry emotional consequences at the end, but at the same time, this is RAVEN! I didn't want her to die! Ah well, it made for a great get together between them afterwards.
While Young Justice and Teen Titans were very much different, this conclusion actually did serve as a believable bridge between the two.
As for the negatives, well, probably the biggest was how everything went back to normal and it was a purely happy ending. I understand WHY you did it, but I prefer endings to have some sort of consequence instead of business as usual. I would have proposed either all the revived being damaged in some way, or the Titans being forced to splinter off from the League entirely and go off the grid. I dunno.
Also, I'm guessing this is continuing with Greg Weisman's theme of "It's never over". You set up the ascension or Ra's Al Ghul, and the birth of another Super baby with Mercy. But I felt they needed some follow through in this story. I generally prefer stories that set themselves up to be ABLE to continue if people want, but if you keep making them feel like they HAVE to go on, people can get burnt out.
Still, I overall enjoyed this story, and it was a nice way of merging it with Teen Titans in a way that's fresh and original. Keep on doing what you're doing, and enjoy.

Solid episode. I enjoyed the fight between Fate and Trigon, knowing Trigon would win (after all, it's RAVEN that has to defeat him in the long run).

Of course the League would have a safe-house, but it hasn't done them much good as the mob has found him. Given what was happening with Batman, I'm imagining that's a Kryptonite weapon. Even when possessed, I doubt Batman would mindlessly attack the Man of Steel.

It was interesting to see the new team members, particularly Hawk and Dove, making the later a girl. Given what's happening right now, I'm guessing we're not really going to see how opposite their personalities are. One thing that bothered me about their DCAU versions was how they just seemed to be set up to oppose one another with no middle ground, particularly their politics. If you're going for something similar, please find that middle ground to show how they are ultimately stronger together than alone.

Then there's the John Constantine cameo. Constantine has become something of interest to me in recent months. On one hand, he's a sorcerer who can con a bunch of demons, yet at the same time he usually hardly does anything, since playing forces of darkness is what he does. I would have preferred him here to take a more active role in helping the League fight Trigon, but I guess this is just what he does.
The significant change you made to him is instead of him smoking, you have him carry around candy. I suppose this is because you're writing this assuming the same (intended) audience of the show would be reading this, but with the sexual innuendo and blood you've already shown, it just seems silly to me to cop out on this of all things.

Another thing I enjoyed was the revelation of Ra's Al Ghul's motives, as well as revealing the Light's intended plans. His plan, though convoluted and should have been prone to failure based on probability, is actually quite sound. Most fans would have expected Savage or Luthor to come out on top, but Ra's doing so is actually a brilliant twist. Most wouldn't expect it, but given Ra's character, it's not completely out of the question. So kudos on that.

Most certainly the definition of the calm before the storm.

It was interesting to see the ruins of Azarath; admittedly, I'm not very familiar with Azarath in any of the DC canons. Just was never well explored. Still, how weird and zany it was made it a pleasure to read.

This was a basic rest before the big boss battle, but the highlight was definitely the exposition of Trigon's powers and motives. Given that the only real weapon they have against Trigon is the shield spell, I've a feeling things are going to go south real fast.

Oh, and nice BBRae moment there. Wonder how this is going to play out with Terra.

I don't normally review until I finished an arc, but I must say that I'm feeling I'm missing something, with the mention of Superboy going into the Phantom Zone. Was this just meant to be a reference or was there something you written talking about this adventure? I know Young Justice tends to gloss over the adventures of members of the League, but considering Connor is one of the main characters, this sounds rather important.

DAAHHHMMMNN!

Now that's what I call an apocalypse. As I first predicted, there was indeed fallout from the kidnapping and Bee fiasco. While I don't think anyone could blame Miss Martian and Superboy for their actions, all things considered I do side on Batman on this issue, harsh as it may be. Not only did they defy orders, but they went after an upcoming politician and a foreign leader, shaking the world's trust in super heroes as we know it. If nothing else, I liked how the alien couple handled the situation responsibly and made the most out of it with their honeymoon.

It seemed it would be a fairly slow story arc, but then you threw the curveball of those sacrificed by the cult of blood becoming their slaves. And of course, you had to throw in the cliche of the hero doing everything they can to stop the foretold event only to wind up being instrumental to it (I am of course talking about Raven).

Having the league enslaved was one thing; that was expected. What I did NOT expect was you killing Mrs. Martian and Superboy; I've a feeling they will be back, but still, their death was impactful. It felt unfair, and I mean that in a good way. The most impactful deaths in fiction are ones you don't see coming, acknowledge they're well done and yet you don't want to see the said characters go.

It's also interesting to note that Kid Flash went to a future ruled by Darkseid with the assistance of these characters in the far future, and now those same characters are trying to survive an apocalypse of a different nature. That was clever foreshadowing on your part. Not only that, but even after all of Bart's efforts, all he changed in the future was it's specifics, not it's outcome. I wonder if that remote Kid Flash has now has something to do with what's going on. I guess I'll just have to wait and read next time.

Now THIS was an epic episode.

The action was fantastic, the drama...this was an episode definitely worthy of canon.

Superboy's and Miss Martian's battles were definitely the highlight. You stacked the odds against them, and yet using their powers in ways we haven't seen before, you helped them manage to clench a win without making it look like an asspull.

And for once, it was refreshing to put Luthor right in his place. There does come a point when thinking that far ahead just becomes completely implausible. It's always the little things big planners tend to overlook.

I'm sad Kaldur is dead, but not angry. Good characters sometimes have to die for the sake of the story. Since this is comic book land, I can always see the possibility of Aqualad coming back.

I also liked the twist with Terra; while it is in line with canon, you've brought something fresh to it. In previous incarnations, Terra knowingly betrayed the Titans, whereas here she was manipulated. Even Queen Bee acknowledged this was very similar to what they did with Red Arrow, and yet it does not feel like an exact repeat. Probably because of the time in between both plans and the fact that there was no one screaming to the other characters about a mole.

While I am happy for BB getting his revenge and for SB and MM getting their son back, this is definitely going to have severe repercussions. The leader of a country dead in American soil, and a presidential candidate driven mad. Feelings against the said people aside, the League is going to be furious, and sadly they will have a right to be. No matter how much they may want to, they simply CAN'T sweep this under the rug.

Despite my praise for this episode, I do have some criticisms. First off, Scandal Savage. She was alluded to in Season 2 when the original Savage and Black Manta conversed. It would have been interesting to reveal her as a major player to take her father's place. However, here she just comes off as a hired (brainwashed?) gun. It felt like a waste. Same thing with Ravager. While Deathstroke did not have a huge role to play in YJ, he's still a major DC villain. I'd have thought his own daughter would get a chance to shine, but nothing really came of it.

Also, Luthor's candidacy just came and went here. In the comics, he successfully became president. In the DCAU, they set up a whole arc around his political aspirations. Maybe the intention was to make this the peak of his political career only to blow up in his face, but still there was potential. Also, when putting politics into a story, I generally recommend not touching upon which party the said characters are representing. People tend to get pissy about these things if their favorite character is viewed as being on opposite sides of their politics, or having a villain represent their party. To be fair though, I'm pretty liberal so Luthor as a Republican works for me (and we practically DID elect Lex Luthor XD).

Excellent episode overall. Looking forward to more.

This was certainly a fun space-adventure. I really liked how you had Atom modify their existing technology for space-travel; even if the actual science behind it is erroneous, I enjoy it when a series makes something fantastical sound plausible.

We get your vision of Tamaran; for the most part, it's pretty much what I would expect. But it was fascinating to see BlackFire rule with an Iron Fist, eliminating the weak (many cultures like the Spartans did similar things). It was fun to watch Jaime and Connor fight for their lives while depowered. If I were BlackFire, I personally would have just brainwashed Superboy and get it on the natural way (wow, since I'm NOT BlackFire that just sounds so wrong now). But I guess she does get off more on combat than sex.

And of course, StarFire vs BlackFire was satisfactory overall. I did enjoy the interactions between Red X and Starfire; the former does come off as genuinely charming when he's with her.

I'd say the one part that felt rather rushed was Starfire's interim leader. I understand what you're going for, but in the eyes of the reader, the guard simply did not earn it. I think if more time was spent showing him helping the weak and getting the resistance together, it would have tied in with everything better. But, it's a minor point I suppose.

Looking forward to what comes next!

The beginning felt like it was going to be one thing before you went to the main plot with the Titans. Though a part of me is more up for a space adventure, it still is necessary to focus on the more earthly matters.

Killer Croc seems more powerful than usual in this version. Some, like the Arkham Asylum version, seem to match up with yours in terms of power, but when he gets this powerful, I usually consider Killer Croc to be too powerful to be considered a Batman Rogue.

Then again, if you didn't amp up his power, there would have been no point in having the entire team of Titans go after him. It was cool not only to see them team up again, but move past the Scarecrow induced nightmare.

And that stinger at the end with Queen Bee! What a way to turn an overall light episode into a kind of dark one. No doubt this is going to affect Beast Boy much like Aqualad is being affected right now. See you next time!

All in all, a fun arc. It was cool to see Damian not only don the Robin costume, but come up with his homemade gadgets/weapons as well. Cassandra's transformation into Batgirl also fit the story very well.

I also like what you did with the voodoo gang here. In the Schumacher movies, they were campy as everything else. While they are still a bit silly, here they better fit in with a more traditional Batman, and their need for human sacrifices gives them the extra edge. Obviously, their mention of Trigon will probably lead up to something in the future.

Damian's tantrum also seems to be a callback to that same scene in Batman Forever where Chris'O Donnel's Robin did the same thing (BF did have a few genuine good scenes, I'll admit that). Of course, it makes more sense for a ten year old to react that way than a young adult.

I've also taken notice how in Young Justice, Bruce seems to have an easier time being a father than most of his other incarnations, and his scolding of Damian seems to reflect that: he makes it clear he's not okay with what's happened, but also teaches Damian a lesson (we'll see if it sticks) and makes it clear he cares about him, not afraid to call out his grandfather (I doubt Batman would be afraid of Ra's on his best day, but other writers might fall into the trap of him not mentioning Ra's out of fear of upsetting the boy).

I'm curious what it is that has caught Luthor's attention; Batman is usually off his radar (at least, as far as he lets on), so I'm not thinking it's Robin. Maybe something to do with the Titans? I guess only time (and you!) will tell.
