This is a really brilliantly-done insight into Erik. I love how only Charles notices, how bittersweet it is to Erik to have someone caring about him again, and how Charles reacts to his panic attack. The ending just breaks my fangirl heart. Really wonderful work.

Oh my gosh, that was so beautifully heartbreaking. Erik becoming nervous and rattling the cutlery was great a detail, as was Charles caring but not pushing him too hard. This was a fantastic read!
