VoidWaIker chapter 11 . 10/5/2016 I started this on archive I just came here as I find the interface and font better, and archive is mostly porn. I look forward to reading when I'm not in class ;) |
NEETsoc chapter 1 . 9/7/2016 Knocking someone out for more than 10 minutes aka giving someone severe brain damage and causing them and their family much more pain than just killing them outright. |
I'm a piece of sh-t chapter 10 . 8/5/2016 So, speed read this quite violently in 3 days, and gotta say, your writing style is exquisite and quite enrapturing. Rest assured I'll be waiting for the next installment with bated breath. P.S, never played Dishonored. You made me love the characters. That's on you. :3 |
Guest chapter 10 . 6/19/2016 Oh my word! I remember when I first started reading this. It was a few days after I finished Thief and Dishonored (I bought them around the same month). I desperately wanted a crossover fanfic after enjoying the games thoroughly. Then I found this fanfic, 2 years ago, and squee'd with delight. No shipping and no OCs, just a pure fanfic of "what if". Absolutely top of the line writing! Every chapter was a treat, sometimes appearing when I had a rough week and needed such a distraction. I've laughed and been thrilled to my core by this fanfic more times than I can recall. I've re-read the chapters numerous times when things were especially exciting and no new chapter was forthcoming. I'm swamped with emotions now, loving this final chapter so thoroughly, happy to see it complete and yet wishing it wasn't over. Thank you so very much for writing this story, for not giving up on it. Your talent for descriptions and maintaining an enjoyable pace is something to aspire to. I don't think this is the last time I will read this masterpiece, but it is the last time I will see that email telling me that a new chapter awaits. My heart soared every time I found that email "new chapter for Corvi et Pecae" waiting for me. THANK YOU! Thank you so very much. Your fanfic has been a thing of joy, escape, thrills and laughter, through both ups and downs in my life over the past year. I shall miss the brilliantly written, cheeky, talented characters as you wrote them and look forward to re-reading this fanfic many more times. I will keep sharing this with my friends as a treasure and one of my all-time favourite stories (not just fanfics). 3 Thank you. |
Rook435 chapter 10 . 6/18/2016 What a glorious ending to this great story! It has been a long time since it was made. But it has all been worth it. As the story ended on a high note. Hope you make the other one sometime. Hopefully not more than a year. But eh who knows. |
Night Of The Crow chapter 10 . 6/17/2016 I don't even know what the hell I'm feeling right now... BUT I FLIPPIN' LOVE YOU. Thank you SO much for this AMAZING piece of artwork! (And honestly, if you weren't going to make a sequel I might have virtually strangled you.) And man, you just took me way out of my normal "emotion zone". I'm usually that chill, serious faced person, and I have no idea what happened. You are the definition of magic. |
Talon chapter 10 . 6/17/2016 Oh this was fantastic. A better ending I could not have hoped for. Also I predicted to myself a year ago that Garrett would give Emily her scarf so... I fucking called it. And then the ending with the outsider painting I laughed my ass off. So long ole chum, I've been reading this since the Pendleton chapter was released when I found this on archiveofourown and... I don't know about you corvo, but I've had a lovely time. That was a dishonored reference btw. The Emily dies ending. |
Aescela chapter 9 . 5/27/2016 Hey there! It's good to have you back and tons of congrats to your success at the uni! Dammit, where do I start? This literally took my breath away. I love it. It's just what I desperately waited for. I was doing a lot of work in the lab lately and everytime I had a minute waiting for some sample to finish I took out my phone like some fucking addict and read a few lines because I just couldn't stop. I don't think I have to mention how authentic you describe the characters and locations, or that your writing style is a good as ever, but I really want to mention that you did not disappoint my very high expectations when it came to Kingsparrow Island. Using the freaks instead of the usual guards and having the primal stone set up on top of the lighthouse was a very smart move that goes well with the plot and also offers something different from the original plot in the game. I have to admit that part of me was a little sad that because of Pendleton being mutated the wonderful "Everybody knows you were screwing the Empress"-dialogue did not happen. I'm not sure about how closely you went with the canon in your story... By now it has been made official that Corvo is Emily's biological father and that he and Jessamine were lovers, and while reading I always wondered whether you incorporated that and if Corvo would talk with Garrett about it. I was kinda looking forward to Pendleton saying this and Garrett staring incredulously at Corvo, making his usual snide comments later on. But the way you handled things was just amazing nonetheless, don't worry. Apart from being so exciting that I was on the edge of my seat all the time, I also wondered if you are going to add Erin in. I was under the impression (and I'm sure you mentioned it in the first chapters) that a part of Garrett's goal was to find Erin, and I really hoped that they would be reunited, you know, so that not only Corvo can make peace with events by finding Emily, but also Garrett by finding Erin. Both masked felons reunited with their girls, so to speak. You'd make me a happy little puddle of goo should that happen. Also, I need to know... Garrett suddenly being so ferocious about killing the guard that he suspects to be called Adrian... That doesn't mean what I think it means, or does it...? ;) Anyway, again, please know that I love you for writing this and thank you again, you are simply amazing. Good luck with your exams! Also, the old thief games are awesome, aren't they? Have fun with Garrett Sr! I'll be waiting with baited breath for the last chapter. Yours, Aescela |
Skipperin chapter 9 . 5/17/2016 AAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHJHHJJHHJKHHHHHH WHAT YES JUST SO MUCH YES |
Rook435 chapter 9 . 5/16/2016 You finally updated this! After all this time in university! Well it was worth the weight. Great job with thus chapter. You made the level much more unique with the combination of the their reboot and dishonored. |
Talon chapter 9 . 5/16/2016 YAAAAAAYYYYY I've missed this so much. Btw I was the guy who asked you if you were still alive a few months back I'm not signed in right now. |
Aescela chapter 7 . 3/30/2016 I'm writing this review for chapter 7 because I don't dare to read chapter 8. I desperately want to know how poor Garrett is going to get out of this, but I don't want this to be over... Seriously, this is one of the best fanfics I've ever read. It goes far beyond the usual fanboyish feel that many fanfics give you while you read them. Your writing style is simply amazing, you portrait the characters very well (Garrett talks very much but in this specific scenario, but it totally makes sense, so that is fine too, and I love his cynical comments) and the way you merge the storylines of Thief and Dishonored just works perfectly. It's as if the games where made to happen just like this. I love the Eye the Outsider gave Garrett, I'm super excited to see how Erin is going to fit in there (if she's alive in your vision...) and it made me laugh out loud quite some times when Garrett and Corvo have their little squabbles. I LOVE it. I know you probably have a lot to do, and I really wish you all the best for your future! Thank you for writing this so far. I'm not a fan of begging an author to continue, as it puts people (at least me...) under pressure, but this masterpiece deserves to be finished properly. I really hope you will write the last chapters one day. I'll definitely have an eye on your account, waiting for more. Again... Thank you. |
Night Of The Crow chapter 8 . 9/16/2015 Of course we're left with another cliff hanger for a while. Damn the Trickster, for the reason that people can not type and think forever! I find the Outsider less umm... Right word, please? Of someone to get mad at, I suppose. After all, he's not the one taking out eyes with Viktoria. Even though I don't want this to end, I still hunger for more, and I grow impatient after 5 minutes of reading this. (Don't worry, this a normal thing with me and book series.) Although, I must say that Garrett is too talkative for the type of person he is, and for a thief, even though I love all his comments. Corvo? Well, no one may ever know. Maybe Dishonored 2 will tell us how he talks, but I like how you've done him. I feel like this is getting too long, how about we get to the point. Keep writing. You're awesome. Love how you made us experience the game, Dishonored. I'm just as crazy as Garrett when taking to a voice in your head. This is still too long. Don't kill me with more cliff hangers... Please? Love your writing skills. I feel like I'm being rude, sorry. This is one of the ways I talk to myself. In a way. Trust me, I'm not actually insane. |
