Reviews for Shadowcats and Direwolves
AshKing1 chapter 6 . 5/12
It is a common misconception that plate limits movement more than chain mail
Murphz chapter 9 . 1/16
One thing that annoys me is the fact your MC has just been told that his father has pretty much been lieing to him all his life, and then finds out he has full siblings that has known both their father and mother all their life, and his father has been visiting his mother that he never knew for years, without telling him. And he is fine with it, barely kicking up a fuss about it, quite simply that’s so stuffed it’s not funny. Why was he made to live with out a mother, while he has brothers and a sister that has had both a father and mother? Your MC should not of be fine with it. Because quite simply inaction from his mother and the fact his father has been seeing her for about 10 years with letting them meet, again he had siblings that grew up with both a father and mother, there is no excuse, just shows they don’t really care about him at all and only told him about everything because he came to them while they were together. He should be pissed at them, I don’t believe in blaming kids for faults of their parents but he should be feeling resentment towards them, even if he hides it. Because quite frankly he has basically be left out of the family on purpose with barely any apology. The instant forgiveness and the sudden love for his mother who has never tried to contact him even though she had another 4 kids with his father over a 10 year period is so fucked up. You need to rework this chapter and the one before it, has nearly ruined this story for me.

AraelDranoth chapter 3 . 5/11/2019
So another setup chapter. Fair enough as it is important.

Onwards to chapter 3.
AraelDranoth chapter 1 . 5/11/2019
Behold Jon Snow! The White Wolf! The King in the North! I've been waiting for a Jon becomes King and essentially a new Robb story for ages! Please don't give him a dragon like every other author is wont to do.
Bakh chapter 10 . 9/7/2017
I had expected something different when Iread summary. That there would be more Jon Snow action than some unimportant soldier from some unimportant family. But good writing.
TMI Fairy chapter 1 . 6/14/2017
Very interesting beginning.
A pity that Kennet did not run into Sandor and Arya.
Instead of being Rickard's son - all of which are accounted for - he could be one of Cregan's/Arthor's anonymous grandsons?
That IMO could make him more interesting - he is would not be in the line of succession to the Karhold.

Guest chapter 18 . 1/15/2017
Jon inspires people to follow him through his personality, honour, sense of fairness and honesty.
Guest chapter 9 . 1/15/2017
This part of the storyline was a complete waste. I ended up skipping past most of it. It's too fairy tale, a humble soldier finds out he's really a noble etc.
Guest chapter 4 . 1/15/2017
Enjoying this but Kennet seems a bit too good to be a common guard.
MattKennedy chapter 18 . 8/13/2016
Love this story so much! Wasn't sure I'd like it at first, but it's far surpassed my expectations! One of the very few fanfictions with an OC main character, and a very likable one at that. :D Love how Kennet is a shadowcat warg and his developing friendship in these last two chapters with Alysanne has been great (I especially love his admitting to her his preference for men, both as an admittance of growing friendship and to turn her down gently). Very much hope you continue this! :D
MoceJo chapter 18 . 4/1/2016

Anon chapter 18 . 9/25/2015
Since he's the heir he should abdicate/make the eldest of his full brothers his heir due to his revelation at the end of chapter 17...
