Thoroughly enjoyed this story. My knowledge of the Highland Games has now increased tenfold and I liked all three of the Mellark boys and their interactions with each other and with Katniss. The epilogue was interesting although I would have loved to see a bit more of Peeta and Katniss' relationship following the first games. Thanks for sharing!

I love this story except for Delly. Nothing against Delly as a character. I just love Rye being his usual self without seriously being tied down to anyone (because if it's Delly then that means it's serious). Plus I think it's weird that any of Peeta's brothers would be dating someone so close to Peeta. But I absolutely love the story and I tread through it! I love the characterizations of the brother and their banter with each other, even their silent eye speech! You captured how I imagined their dynamic would be! Now onto the the next chapter!

I didn't like Katniss's victim hood play. Talk about a huge chip on her shoulder over something that Rye and her never experienced. At some point as the song says u have to let it go. I will also admit it has made me stop reading the story.

Great story! I really enjoyed the first 7 chapters. The epilogue had way too many new characters for me to follow as well, but otherwise great work!

What I liked the most about this story is how vocal and open both Peeta and Katniss are. No overthinking, no hesitation. The relationship moved quite fast, but I guess that buildup accumulate over so many years finally gave out.
Rye is deliciously insufferable, you want to smack him and hug him altogether. Very interesting sibling dynamics and personality

I will reserve my last comment to that juicy, mind altering, all-sorts-of-kinky feelings stirring description of our boy's physique ... Salivating. From the barely there trendily of very blond hair over pink skin through that valley of perfect muscles ... oh..and lips! Killing me here!

I love how you write these guys , I'm I love with Flax's baritone, Rye's bad boy sass and Peeta's charm. Particularly enjoying their interactions and the fact that Peeta is so outspoken and witty! So Flax doesn't have the unruly hair and instead has navy eyes...huh... interesting! I love how your picture of him complements his more serious character.
And how about that dark cloud of "she who broke them" luring to haunt them and Rye's unorthodox way to counsel his little brother, the masks they wear, the team they've become...so good!

I don't remember Mr Mellatk having a name before (maybe he did, let's blame my old years!) but I'm loving getting to 'know' him better! This is going to be good and I can't wait for a Rye the rambunctious drink-begger quick on sass middle brother!

I'm smiling as I'm reading and then it's time to review and I'm drawing a blank.
Nothing jerks me out of reading, so I'm loving the characters, everything is quite plausible, it's worded beautifully, it's intense and not over the top and the teenagers feel like teenagers without the irritating aspect.
There aren't twists as much as predictable events that I'm very happy to read (Rye getting frisky with Delly. I didn't expect Delly per se, but I figured you'd show him with a girl eventually. Some antagonist cropping up to bug Peeta about Katniss).
I love your Katniss here. She's awkward enough to feel like a mature version of canon Katniss, but social enough to make it all interesting. Your Mellarks are awesome of course, but that's expected.

So yeah, slowly reading, but reading still.

This was adorable, I think Rye was all the cuter for crying in front of Frozen after his "I could totally be a creep and you'd fall for me" speech.

I love how organically it all flows and I always visualize the scenes. I sound a bit like a broken record but I do love how they each try to deal with their feelings and how intense you make them without ever resorting to crudeness.
