What a great story! A friend recommended it to me ages ago, but I have always had an issue with mpreg stories in slash fics where the guys really do carry babies. Would never read them, and I kind of put this in the same category. When it came up again just recently, and she mentioned it again, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did. Wonderful casefic, and great twist with it turning out to have all been an accident. I was kind of hoping the girl would end up pregnant too. Maybe she was and it just reset to the beginning. I'd like to think so anyway. And Jess was great...from being so determined to make sure Sam was okay to her later awkwardness and coming over to apologize with cookies. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

This is a "male pregnancy" fic that actually worked so well - protective Dean and hormonal Sam, plus a real mystery around what had happened. Loved that Jess was in it, too!

You managed to hit all the emotions! It was funny, kind of scary, and then a little bit sad at the end. Great story!

Just stumbled upon this...I was gonna wait until the end to comment, but I was chuckling so hard after this chapter that I had to say something. Poor Sam! I know he's panicking, but it's so funny! Can't wait to see how this all turns out!

I read this and some of your other work on LJ but I don't have one so I couldn't comment! I'm so glad I found it on here! It's a really great fic! The plot, dialogue, and especially the h/c are top notch :) I almost never like mpreg but you made it work.

I felt so sorry for Erica. I also hoped the baby would transfer to her, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Awww, I'm sorry that there ended up being no baby. Even if Sam couldn't have had it, it would have been nice if the baby could have been 'magicked' out somehow. Then Erica would have had a baby, which she really, really wanted. It's normal for Sam to feel conflicted about the baby being gone too. It was a part of him for awhile, even though they weren't sure whether it was human or not. It's a good thing Jess ended up visiting, since she was the best argument for Sam to stay in college...although it might have turned out better for Sam if he left, since Jess would still be around. Sam might miss her, but he hasn't gotten involved with her as more than a friend at this point, which would save Sam a lot of heartache.

Well, this was a great story, my dear! I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Poor Sammy :'( How awful for him to have gone through that. So glad he had Dean to help him through it all.
