This is awesome! I love how it's written and I don't know what else to say XD
laura393 chapter 8 . 10/31/2014
Loved it, so dark, so sad and yet so intoxicating. I can't wait to read more. It's a wonderfull story! Am wondering if ryou will get any pleasure out of it next time, if he will feel if like his own body betrayed him, if he'll want more.
Guest chapter 7 . 10/30/2014
I loved it can't wait for the next chapter
RyouBakuraBabe chapter 6 . 10/18/2014
Love it! Please do more soon :) :) :) I really like the hallucinations idea, I haven't seen that before in a ryou bakura fic :)
beastonvps chapter 6 . 10/9/2014
This is amazingly good, well-written, and unique. Definitely unique. I agree with 00000. I like that it's horror, but that the fear is more internal than some outward monster. Ryou seems to fear his idea of Bakura more so than he actually fears the manifestation-and for good reason. But physically, he's more rebellious than fearful, in my opinion. And I love that about your portrayal of Ryou. A lesser man might do anything necessary to stay on Bakura's good side, to avoid punishment. However, Ryou pushes him-even subconsciously. He pushes Ryou to hurt him without much thought, and only when in the midst of being psychologically tortured does true fear settle in for Ryou. Which is why I absolutely DEVOURED these six chapters, and so sad there isn't more right now! :)

I think you did a beautiful job on this fic. Ryou's introspection, and his complicated relationship with Bakura... Bakura's hot-cold temperament and cruelty, love it. And Marik is just a horndog, and I cannot wait to see what he plans to do.

Although I originally started reading with the hopes of explicit sexuality *ahem* I am so glad I found this story today. And I do sense a bit of erotic undertones, I should say... It's definitely there, waiting to be made manifest, and I look forward to seeing it all unfold.

Great job! :)

Goddess Ophelia chapter 3 . 8/11/2014
I really like this story :3 Ohmy goodness you wrote it while drunk? Man it certainly doesn't seem like it at all. Keep it up I can't wait for more
Nathanel chapter 3 . 8/2/2014
If you wrote this while drunk you should drink more often. XD
This chapter was just as good as the others.
000000 chapter 3 . 7/30/2014
Haha, not bad if you were drunk- the plot seemed to stop (regarding the whole Marik thing) but it kept the consistency of its style; using both emotional, traumatic events and the gory imagery (which I encouraged). While it felt a tad bit rushed, at least you added a backstory now, instead of simply giving small hints of a character's past (which is a good set up unless well organized). I'm grateful for you mentioning me in this chapter and appearing to use a bit of what I told you- just remember not to rush it. It appears that focusing on Ryou and Bakura's 'love/hate' relationship right now is quite fitting. I believe I mentioned this in my last comment, but again, I love how you portray Ryou- broken and hurt but NOT melodramatic like his stereotypical fanfiction partner, and his attitude towards Bakura is great. It at least shows that the character has some sort of pride in himself- which can either be grown or diminished (depending on what you wish to do). I also like how Bakura acts as Ryou's abuser, but also his rock. Noticeably, his sudden temper was the result of his vague care for Ryou, reminding us that he may not care for Ryou, but is still there to keep an eye on him.
lemerly chapter 3 . 7/22/2014
you were drunk when you wrote this! its brilliant! i love the detail you go into. Bakura is just so heartless in this fic but he seemed a little caring in this chapter. poor ryou his mam killed herself that so sad :'( anyhoo keep up the good work and update soon! (sorry for not reviewing sooner im only home now!)
000000 chapter 2 . 7/17/2014
I must say, I like this fic! I like how you truly created a horror- sort of atmosphere. I felt that the characters were spot on-
Ryou trying to avoid Bakura out of fear, while also keeping an angered attitude towards him. He hates him but fears to do something, and I like that balance. And if this is going to be a legit horror and not something cliched, over dramatic, and unoriginal fic, then please focus on the hate. We can watch as the innocent Ryou goes through character growths as the result of his torment. Emphasize on this change, have the character reflect himself as a person. Has he become more cruel and cynical to the world as a result of the Yami's influence around him? If you want Ryou to cry (alot), go ahead, but don't make it consistent. Have him slowly cry less, become something he is not. (Might I also say that not making Ryou's father cruel was unique, seeing as how every fic portrays him as such). I also like how you clearly show the reader he is still a child; describing him as having soft features that are even quite feminine- but something he will grow out of. One of the best and actually admirable fics out there are what I believe to be the changes in the character- but in a way that is realistic if it were true in the anime, manga, etc. But please, if Ryou will somehow drastically change, build it up as the story progresses.
Bakura is as dark and menacing as always, portraying a sadistic air that you seem capable of managing. But simply being the monster is not enough. What will help avoid the "Evil Bakura" cliche that all fics do (unless its a sappy romance (which I hope you do not move it towards))is using Bakura's warning to Ryou. If you continue this story, use this. Bakura does not have to change into a good person; keep his sinister personality- but make him perhaps protective of Ryou for the wrong reasons- not because of the good of his heart, but for something that could either be worse then the Marik situation, or for selfish reasons.
So overall, I believe this can be a good fic. Your writing is well and no grammar mistakes. I also advise you to keep that imagery going. It's a horror fic, and a bit of gore and psychological horrors is perfect considering Bakura as the antagonist. The part where Ryou see's his dead sister was a perfect example of implementing visual and mental fears - I hope to see more of that. The fic is promising and even original if you keep true to the roots of horror and not stereotypical fanfiction.
As tips for the next chapter (or just general ideas that I would like you to keep in mind): don't introduce Malik just yet (It feels too soon). Have Ryou meet Marik first- have him break Bakura's promise. I can see Malik being introduced in a moment of desperation- a calling. Both Ryou and Malik have an important thing in common- an evil and dangerous presence, and this can help give our pitiful protagonist at least some form of reassurance- a friend even.
I wouldn't have a problem if you bring Yugi and Yami/Atem into the story. But once again, it's too soon. For now, keep those two on the sidelines. I would love to see Yugi Motou in the future- an example of hope. Hope that light and darkness can harmonize despite the past (use examples of season 0 Yami- it would just seem fitting.)
As I stated before, do the same thing with the example of Ryou's dead sister. This way, you can have Bakura serve as an anti-social; keep Ryou safe, but balance this protective nature for the psychological torments. This way he can break his host, just not physically.
And finally, emphasize even more on Marik. If Bakura- an already murderous and cruel person- is warning Ryou of someone, then that just smells trouble, adding to a more thriller and suspenseful plot.
Once again, keep it up.
