Guest chapter 8 . 2/4/2019 Hello there! I have been following this story for the better part of five years, and I have to say, I was so excited to see that you’d decided to repost it after it was deleted. I love the way you developed characters and their relationships alongside showing honesty in how the culture of elves and men clash and work together. I also love your take on how Eomer and Legolas develop into friends. Now, that being said, I did notice that you hadn’t updated in a couple of years when I rediscovered this story recently. So I don’t know if you’ve abandoned it or not, but I would LOVE to see how it plays out in the end, and keep up the good work, because we all know that writing is hard. |
Perianath039 chapter 1 . 6/4/2018 I havnt even read this chapter yet though im sure its great. I just wanted to comment on your dedication whomever rangergilan is I atomatically like them. Gillan is my absolute fave! (Besides Halt obviosly ;) ) |
Shirerose chapter 8 . 7/21/2017 I have to say I am enjoying this story quite a bit. Thank you for looking at a Legolas friendship that is not just Aragorn (though wonderful they tend to be over-abundant). The writing is still pretty good (though I know what you feel like as far as older stories go). Thranduil is a breath of fresh air in the murky cloud of post-Jackson fics. And I am delighted to see someone else with an older Legolas (it is to seldom explored). The problems the various kingdoms face are intelligently put forward and believable. All in all it is good to see a fic so well out of the fandom box. I know, I at least would quite like to keep reading if you are willing to keep re-updating. Shire Rose |
TimeturnerJasmy chapter 8 . 6/5/2017 I have enjoyed this immensely and can't wait for the next chapter! Also, you have no idea what a relief it is to finally find a good author who writes Legolas as old as I think he is. :D |
TimeturnerJasmy chapter 1 . 6/5/2017 I'm glad I finally reached this story! I think I shall enjoy it greatly. One thing though: I have noticed that you refer to our dear Elf as "Legolas Greenleaf" from time to time. But, as I'm sure you're aware, "Greenleaf" is just the Westeron translation of "Legolas". I'm always a bit irked to see it used like a last name. The one time we saw it in the books, it was used in lyrical form, so it might have just been added for poetical value. Still, I'm sure you have your reasons. |
Brightpath2 chapter 8 . 9/5/2016 Well I caught up to one of your stories... Granted it's the least updated one, but still! I'm making progress :) Excellent chapter! :) |
SparkyTAS chapter 8 . 6/19/2016 It is good to read this story again. Thank you for reposting it. I look forward to the rest of it. |
Silvara chapter 8 . 6/17/2016 Nice! |
roadworkahead chapter 8 . 6/13/2016 YASSSSSs |
Eraman chapter 8 . 6/13/2016 Finally someone that agrees with me on Legolas being much older than he acts :D When i first read Book of Lost Tales I though the Legolas Greenleaf there was the same as in LotR so I was sure he was there and which was why he showed so much fear in Moria when the Balrog came. He'd faced them before :P Anyway I love this story so much :D |
SmileyXs Ice-cream Sprinkles chapter 8 . 6/13/2016 HOHOOO this is awesome to see :D HMM I am tearing up, How I have missed this story :D Awesome as always :D Can't wait to see the next chapter :D I hope you have a month with Ice cream and Sprinkles :D Till next time :D |
Guest chapter 1 . 5/5/2016 Adorei! |
Brightpath2 chapter 7 . 1/4/2016 Yay for an update! Ah yes, back to Aragorn needing to explain to Legolas exactly WHY he has been unable to help Rohan get back on it's feet :) |
bella13446 chapter 7 . 1/2/2016 The greater the title the greater the responsibility place on the person. Royalties still exist in this world but sometimes I wonder how much freedom must they give up just to shoulder that responsibility. The people's safety, comfort etc. Are all dependent on the actions of the royals. Thanks for the update. |
RoboTitaness chapter 7 . 1/2/2016 I had to remember for a minute that this was pre Legolas and Faramir bromance! I am surprised that Legolas was willing to leave Eomer so quickly, seeing as it was just one morning of work. Buut it seemed to work! |
