I think I must really like your Dr. Lowes character, because this one and Ch 12 are my favorites of your shorts. The obvious inexperience and subsequent handling of the situation is rather adorable, and I think you captured their essences really well. It takes some good writing to capture all that in a little short chapter. :)

I love this chapter.

I work in ESL in China, and after the first two to four weeks, everyone gets sick. It's your body adjusting to a new country. I've often thought that aliens in all those cartoons must go through something like that typo, adjusting to a new planet.

This one was a surprise. But super cute, and fluffy.

This was good, ,,, I can imagine nosedive to convince the others duck's to decorate the pond...

So I'm seriously behind on my reading, but very few stories make me laugh out loud! I totally got a Bones from Star Trek vibe when the doctor proclaimed she was not a vet. :)

I love stories that explore all the little differences in the ducks' culture, anatomy, etc. It's so up in the air that everyone has their own take on things, which equates to some creative interpretations!

Another great story! I really like how you distinguished between the ducks' signs of affection and what they consider to be offensive. Your story stays true to the characters, and I love that about it.

I love this story! I've thought about what the ducks might eat too, and I figured they wouldn't eat any kind of poultry or waterfowl. Too close to cannibalism, right? But I figured they were okay with pizza - maybe even with some of the non-vegetarian toppings as long as it wasn't chicken. I can't remember what kind of pizza the TMNT would eat. But having them just stay away from meat makes sense, I mean they are ducks.

I like the quote from the TV show where Duke says about Nosedive, "I thought he was going to eat the worms" from the Duck Hard episode.

The part in your story about Phil needing to have a conversation with the Ducks about Earth is fun.

That was hilarious.

Pffft, well if it doesn't automatically turn the 'see through stuff' off, this could certainly happen at first, XD. I would've liked to see the Mask used for more things in the show, or at least had more of its history laid out.

Oh look, I was already more or or less 'meh' in regards to Phil, and now I think I actively dislike him.
