You are handling Squid and Mickey’s problems and complications so well and realistically, in their relationship and out of it. And yeahhh, sorry, I can’t help but root for romance! I’m a sucker for close friends to love stories; I think they’re beyond cute. If they just stay friends, well, I’m still glad, because it was so sad when they were against each other at the start (but I’m still holding out hope...). Thank you for this flashback, because even though it was heart wrenching (poor Squid! My heart was breaking for him), I love me some backstory. Hope you hit us soon with another update! :)

But no, seriously, I think this is now my new favourite chapter. It shows so much of the characters, and how they've grown. You're really good at sprinkling backstory in here and there. So it's not too much, but not too little. And don't worry about boring us with backstory - there's a point to having backstory, and with an angsty plot driven story like this, it really shines!

I love that Squid was going to art school! Is that his secret talent that they didn't get to see? Awesome. I honestly was thinking he was a singer, or a rapper. But this is great! I can totally feel Squid with that - you never want anyone to know what you're drawing lmaooo. But did Squid actually do it? I feel like he did but I don't know if I should read much into it... Was it Brett or Alexis? Or just kids at school? I dunno what to think anymore.

But I'm so excited for the next chapter. And, honestly, the rest of the story and the sequel. I'm CeruleanMusings Trash #1.

Ahhhh! I was really not expecting that thing with Eagle! I literally sat straight up in bed in disbelief lol. I’ve really enjoyed these last couple chapters, and I really feel like you’re moving their relationship from toxic to healthy in a clear and realistic way. And ah yes thank you so much for more moments! And I appreciate their platonic relationship, and of course you’ll go whatever way feels right with that, but yes, I do ship them. I ship them...like a lot lol. Can’t lie, I’ll be sad if they don’t end up together, with all the tension and potential etc, but I totally understand if you don’t go that direction. I’ll just sit here crossing my fingers lol. Can’t wait for an update, I’m excited to see where this story goes!
