This may be my very favorite Daria/Trent fic. The perfect future/happy ending for them. I'm going to make it my own headcanon, okay? THANK YOU! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

This is beautiful. Elegant, understated and damn near flawless. Very true to Daria's character, and a depiction of Trent that I can totally get into. So many writers render him as a dolt, perhaps because he was so understated in the series. I always believed that there was more beneath the surface, perhaps something that Daria had always picked up on even if she never really understood what was going on with herself.

I always wondered what might have been going through his mind when his reaction to Daria's high school graduation speech was shown for just a moment, sitting there in the bleachers.

I love this so much. I actually saw this pop up in my inbox a few days ago, but I haven't had time till now-but it's been in my thoughts for DAYS.

Seriously. This gets me right in the teenage heart. You do such a wonderful job with characters that were so near and dear to me for so long-thank you! It's probably not the most active fandom in the world, but I love this pairing and your stories to death.

Literally grinned like a fool through the entire thing. I think I said before that I loved that it's from Trent's perspective (and if not, I love it). You just totally and utterly nail the character for me. And watching as he tries to pull Daria out of her shell-best!

*SUPER SIGH* Entranced. Can't wait to read it again.

Love this! :D Trent would totally understand that Daria is not about to go shouting from the rooftops about their relationship (even if she secretly, at that final moment, wishes she were that type, lol). Jane would get it too, but the constant teasing is the price! I love the idea that she's his muse, and that's she's both happy and really embarrassed by it.

So glad to see this! Such a nostalgia-filled couple for me! :D
