I have to apologize in advance for my nitpicking. When you said Hydropathy . . . are you referring to being able to manipulate water with one's mind? Because I'm pretty sure that power is known as hydrokinesis. Like how Telepathy is about mental communication and manipulation of one's mind and telekinesis is about manipulating objects with one's mind.

Also . . . since you threw in vampirism will Blade be making an appearance?

Interesting fic, I can't wait to see where you'll take it. Out of the two possible endings to the series you suggested, I think they'd most likely be spies, since I can't see Castle leaving behind his daughter to be a fugitive. People seem to forget about Alexis and only seem to point out Kate being devastated by the season finale. My theory is that either Castle was kidnapped or put in the Witness Protection Program (even wrote a fic for the last one), although I don't think Castle will ever willingly leave Alexis.
