MissingMommy chapter 1 . 2/21/2015 This was just absolutely fantastic. I love the life that you brought to all three of the characters. I love the fact that Anthony's father felt alienated from his children because he couldn't be in their world, and felt that it was his punishment for not marrying a nice Jewish woman. That felt very real. What also felt real was the relationship between Anthony and Vivian (which is a gorgeous name, btws). They fought like cat and dogs but, in the end, they would work together to protect one another. [Whether I like it or not, I must be an example to follow for all of Ravenclaw] - oh, Anthony, you sound more like a Gryffindor here. You didn't have to be an example. You didn't have to go back. Just the fact that being an example was the only reason Anthony was truly going back breaks my heart. ["You won't forgive yourself if you leave..." Anthony shook his head. "Then I won't forgive myself if I try and make you leave."] - I really love how much trust his father puts in Anthony. And how much he truly wants to make his children happy. It's so great. This was just wonderful all around. Great job, dear. |
MandyinKC chapter 1 . 6/9/2014 I really enjoyed this story. I love your Anthony stories anyway, but this one was particularly wonderful to read from Mr. Goldstein point of view. Each character is very strong with a clear voice. I especially enjoyed Mr. Goldstein's, as it is a voice we don't often hear in fanfiction. I also enjoy stories that work within cannon to broaden the scope of the story. We know so little of what was happening in the wizarding world beyond Harry, especially in the last book. It's stories like this one that make the HP world come alive with new tales to tell. Thank you. |
