Okay so I considered the small possibility of Jay faking his death but then you wrote that heartbreaking second chapter and I was like “NOPE he has to be dead now, that was too sad”. Haha I expected the slap but I thought she’d hit Jay for “lying” to her.

SO SAD! I had to read this in parts, I couldn’t read it all at the same time I was crying so much.

I am 95% sure that jay is not dead, and that this is all part of an undercover mission that he was offered and said yes to and they said that no one can know , not even his team, so that they are not put in harms way. And the only way to make sure that they won't find out, is that they believe that he's dead. But Erin, being who she is, eventually finds out, and finds jay about lets say 1 month after his "death" and eventually jay, being who he is, successfully completed the undercover mission, and they go back to the precinct and everyone looks like they've seen a ghost, and jay says in a sarcastic tone "whats wrong, you guys look like you've seen a ghost? !" And then they all hug each other and they all start talkig then they get filled in on what happened and why it had to happen! Then the other 5% is that im almost positive that he's dead!
