oohhhhhhh my god this is so amazing

I love the way that this didn't turn into a cheesy tell-them-the-truth-and-the-world-suddenly-becomes-a-bright-and-happy-place story. This argument was realistic and reasonable on both ends and the characters stayed true to themselves. I liked that this took place before Danny knew Jazz knew because it just stressed the irony in it. How did Sam and Dean come to know his secret, though? Anyways, this was a great story.

Nice story, and I'm with Dean. Danny should tell his parents. I understand it when teens hide stuff from their parents. But being half-ghost isn't exactly every day stuff and I think it is an important enough issue to bring the attention to Danny's parents.

Now a bit of constructive criticism. You are excellent in being able to paint the emotions and moods in the conversations but it was hard at times keeping track of who was saying what. Even when you had only two people speaking to each other (Danny and Dean), it was hard to know whether it was Danny or Dean was talking until I got the context. It would be helpful to add more description of which 'he' is speaking at a particular time.

Oehhh this is really cool. Love the paralles you made between their lives. And it's really sweet to see Dam and Dean knowing what's going on and trying to help. :)

I must confess to liking this version where the Winchesters are on Danny's side rather than trying to destroy a him. I like the idea that they are willing to step in and back him up.

I also liked your explanations of why Danny hasn't told his parents. In the show, as well as in many fics his reasoning for not tell in his parents seems a bit weak. You clearly state all the arguments and counter arguments in a very convincing way.

I also like how you hint at another reason in the beginning that to stop hunting ghost would go against Danny's obsession. You do it with a subtlety that lets the reader know that Danny himself may not be aware of it, though he certainly has other reasons for justifying it.

I have really enjoy your SuperDanny crossovers. I have to confess that your stories (one of those where they are not on Danny's side) have sort of influenced me to have them make a cameo appearance of my upcoming chapters. It's not obvious and it really is only in my own mind. Not withstanding the role I need them to play, I prefer when they are not trying to kill Danny.

This is a one-shot and is obviously not meant to continue yet I can't help but speculate of different alternatives. After all that is half the fun.

i'd just watched a nerdy and quirky vid that helped me feel a lot better about changing my opinions and just having opinions in general, and now this, about keeping stuff from parents who don't understand.
i wish everything could be straightforward.

Oh god I loved this fox so much! The way that it focuses on Sam and Dean as advice givers and starts after the reveal but deals with how they would realistically handle the situation was incredible. I also love how realistically Sam switches over to Danny's side and how, like every case, it comes back to play with the relationship Sam and Dean have.
Just wanted to let you know that in my head canon this is a distant sequel to Laying Out the Welcome Mat, because while this isn't the aftermath I and many other reviewers hope you'll someday write, it sounds so much like a follow up to that drama and reveal that I hope you'll write more in this 'verse!

True what Sam says, guess Dean really just wants him to be happy, but reality just doesn't want him to be.

I think Danny should have had more say at the end, but damn what a story. Very emotionally packed.

And in the end, Danny is the one awkwardly standing in how the conversation turned towards the brother's life... 'XP
