Awesome story! Loved how it followed canon and established its own moments. The relationship developments were well paced with just the right amount of intensity. I liked how your Maleficent grows and comes to terms with much in her past. The family aspect was enjoyable as well. Aurora really comes off as a well rounded young woman instead of a stereotypical mary sue. It truly was a solid read. Awesome job.

I just watched the original Sleeping Beauty and hearing Maleficent calling her raven 'darling', 'my lovely' and more of the same really makes one think certain thought about her and Diaval.
Looking at your story I really wish she had met him before Stefano AND that she would have stuck with him.
