Terry marrying one of Bruce's daughter has rather unfortunate implications with what is revealed in the Justice League episode "Epilogue". Oh well, I guess true love transcends everything.

Actually the real ending the comic book people wanted for the Batman series was that eventually batman and catwomen get married and have helena as a daughter and she becomes the huntress. So in "reality" this follows in nicely. he he.

You totally surprised me with Inque. I liked all the twists in the last chapter, and you were right, the bits of humor were really good.

OK, so Ben is not exactly Batman. But having been a Marine for 4 years, and a cop for 3, he shouldn't be so doofy entering an abandoned building. He should have had lots of CQB training, know how to "slice the pie", etc. Sorry - my hubby is really into that kind of stuff, and I guess he's rubbed off on me. anyway, the technology might be new to him, but he doesn't have to be a total rookie during his "Year 1".

I LOVE the exchange between Isabella and Grace. You made them so real. Also Mardi's character filled out from "Broken" - seems very complete.

I believe that as the writer, you can do whatever you want, as long as it is logical. Go for it!

Oh - excellent. This was done very well, even though I missed Terry and Bruce and the others, I liked Ben as the new Batman and everything. You wove these characters into the btman world well, and you should be congratulated for it.

Update time, and a good chapter too. The idea of the Huntress helping get Inque was good. I'd love to see a side story of what occered between them for Huntress to want to take her down. That aside I'm looking forward to more so keep 'em coming.

Poor Grace. Everything is happening so fast for her. I like where you're taking her and Ben, but I love the flashbacks that include her, Bruce , Terry, Mardi and Bella even more. You juggle their personalities so well together. A part of this reader is hoping you'll do something like you did to Mardi at the end of your last story and leave us with a happy ending despite the apparent reality. I'm wondering if the experienced 'bat-people'(esp. Bruce) would have noted the possibility of sabotage before succumbing to the disaster. Could this possibly be some kind of 'test' for Grace, to get her to see the potential of her heritage? Thanks again for enjoyable reading!

I guess it would be a bad thing to say I'm enjoying this story, after you knocked off the main characters in the first chapter ... but I really am. I like the integration of the batman/batman beyond worlds & I'm interested to see what you'll do with Grace.
