I just read this for the 80,000th time and realized that I never actually reviewed it and therefore that I was a horrible person. I swear to gosh, this fic is BEYOND incredible, it's so amazing and it's my favorite sort of subject and I honestly refer to this fic so often, when I want something to make me happy or when I want something super sugary sweet or when I'm trying to write any semblance of hurt comfort because this fic is the EPITOME of the genre.
It doesn't get more perfect than this.
My heart always breaks when Chopper thinks Luffy thinks he's a monster and then it /shatters/ when he transforms midair and drops against Luffy's shoulder and Luffy's just all 'jeez, you scared me, don't do that.' It's gorgeous. I love it.
I still can't believe I never came back to review this one, I mean, I've read all your one piece fics and I eventually decided to review a few select ones about the general amazingness of your work but I can't believe this wasn't one of the selected, it's incredible and perfect and I love you so much for writing it.
Did I say that already? I hope so because it's really really super true.
So yeah, thanks again for all your work, these one shots are my lifeblood, I adore them and your writing style and your interpretation of these characters and I'm sorry I never said it about this before but now I have and I'm glad :)

Technically speaking, the strawhats didn't really do anything wrong except clean up after the marines. And the only ONE wrong thing they did was hitting the world nobles (cuz I can't spell tenryuu-something).

Whew...I got scared there for a moment...I actually thought that the other strawhats (and maybe Luffy and Chopper) were going to die...but they didn't:) Good heartwarming and angsty fic!

I'm impressed. This was really well written. Though the emotions Chopper showed for Luffy were both heartbreaking and adorable. Loved the bondage those two had. One thing you do right that many fanfiction writers do wrong is writing the characters in a way that is comparable to the ones in the show/book series. I especially liked how well you nailed Luffy's character at the end when he said that Chopper had him worried for jumping in front of bullets because he wasn't rubber. At first that didn't seem very Luffy like, but then I remembered that Ace lost his life jumping in front of Akainu in order to save Luffy, and this very similar incident probably brought that painful memory back to Luffy. It's hard to write a fanfiction off of One Piece because the show isn't very "deep" but great job nonetheless. I really enjoyed this.
