I could soooo see this happening in the show, particularly the vignette with Ted and Dani. Her challenging him about him and Crews being together? Oh...the look on Ted's face would be priceless. I have read some slash with the two of them and it just never felt real to me. This feels very in character and quite real. I could totally see Charlie shying an orange at someone and Dani scolding him, but under that being a little touched by his defense of her.

Great chapter, I especially love the descriptions of Charlie's tattoos and scars! I wasn't expecting Crews/Reese at the end but I love them so I'm not complaining! I also like that Crews shielded Reese and I assume she shot the suspect. No one messes with her partner!

llooooovvvee it! and is so agrre with your first line before chap 1: the best plot with the perfect actors. it's so easy to imagine them like this... BUT: where is all the story inbetween? i would love to read but. but go on with your oneshots as it is - i love it anyway

Aww, this is very sweet! I love how protective Crews was with Dani and Ted so this was a really nice extension of that. Nice touch with the orange, reminds me of when he threw the apple at the 'bodyguard.' Great fic!
