This is so sad and awesome.

You're absolutely right that Vanellope suffered a lot from the hands of King Candy/Turbo, and that it wouldn't be over in the moments it took to defeat him and to make her leader of the game again. The summary made me think that some time had passed since they had defeated King Candy, but seeing that it took place on the same day was a nice surprise. It makes the anger very natural and understandable, though I'd be surprised if she was really able to put it all behind her after just that. At least she has Ralph and in time she'll befriend the other racers of Sugar Rush as well - those are just children, too, so I can't completely blame them for their behavior towards Vanellope, since they had no one telling them it was wrong. It was a bit of an angsty story, but it definitely ended on a hopeful note, and I liked it.

I liked that Vanellope got a REAL apology from the candy racers here. One has to wonder what kind of relationship she'll have with them when the film's sequel comes out, assuming all goes well with that. Maybe the KC on the popcorn didn't stand for King Candy, but for Kit-Cat? No, probably not. :P

Really good. I feel even more sorry for Vanellope reading this; it's not easy going through what she did, and it's not easy dealing with it all. :( But I like how, despite all the awful stuff she goes through, there's still a happy ending, that it's not the end of the world and that there are people who really do care. :)

This was very enjoyable and I could so see this happening. The scaredy Kit-Kat line was nice as it eased the tension as well. I loved it.

Really important stuff right here. Closure can be a difficult thing to get and I'm just glad you pointed out everything to do with how Vanellope was treated those last few years. (Especially the stuff with Candlehead and Rancis. I can't even put it into words how much that bothers me.) Really liked this fic paritally because I think it deals with a very real issue the racers needed to overcome in the movie (or in it's sequel).

Aww... I could see this being a canon aftermath scene for the film. It would have been nice for Disney to show us how the other racers may have attempted to atone for what they did to Vanellope.

I have to be honest, this wasn't quite what I expected in this fic from the preview, but it was still incredibly well done! (I really should try working on some of my stuff and stop procrastinating, haha.)
Anyway, I didn't realize that some of the things in the movie didn't get changed, but now that it's been pointed out, i probably will the next time I watch it. But I can totally understand why she would be so angry to see it. You have somebody steal something that belongs to you, and then when the fight is over and you have it back, it has his/her fingerprints or imprints all over it, and it feels like it isn't yours anymore. and for her that would probably be really hard because she probably doesn't remember what it was like when she was the ruler, so its like it never was hers at all. I loved how all of the racers were so kind and apologetic to her in her state. It shows that maybe they can grow to be loyal subjects.

I'd always wondered why the KC and other stuff didn't reset fully. I guess it could've just been an oversight though.. Kinda wish Ralph had been there at the end or something, but the other racers and Sour Bill being there for her was nice :p.
