Among my heaps of general guilty pleasure romance fanfictions, this is a real gem, and I would be proud to ever write something like this. You should be, too. Keep writing, my friend.

This was perfect! A rare gem amongs the rubble that makes up the Portal Fanfic these days. The optic to optic glaredown is old hat for Portal stories but fits in the scene anyway. Hopefully you have more new stories coming.

Escellent work! The tone really fits that moment in canon, and I think this is what could have happened if he had killed her. However, to be honest, I thought GLaDOS would have cloned her like she said she would (probably after killing Wheatley, probably?) Anyway, I liked how you feel that growing crushing feeling that nothing is going to be okay ever again and the ending was effective and very well done. Congratulations, my heart is crushed. ;D Thanks for this nice fic!

Oh gosh I can hear GLaDOS saying these lines… it hurts to “hear” her talk like this. And the way Wheatley keeps saying “the both of you” and whatnot—he can’t fully realize what he’s done.

“Heavy American accent” sounds so weird to hear, even if it’s correct. I forgot the other cores are there. And “bleated” definitely sounds like a good word to describe Space Core’s speech…
