It isn't very often that Yamucha gets portrayed as a deep person, and I thought this was a very refreshing and not unrealistic representation of him. Very nice charaterizations, also...(I loved how Trunks described his mother! 3)

My only criticizm is that Trunks' monologues were a bit awkward with all of the "she said to tell you's" and he was just a teensy bit long-winded.

Overall, a this was a very nice change of pace (for an avid B/V fan) and I thoroghly enjoyed it! :)

really great fic from yamcha's point of view

xD ASIUHNFUDSAKSALDSA THAT WAS SO GOOD. THERE SHOULD BE MORE FICS LIKE THIS. I mean, it's so interesting to see Yamucha's POV.

This was a really amazing fic, it is difficult for most BV writers to take sympathy? to yamchua, while the poor man really hasn't done much. Anuway, you entire portrayal of characters and situation was wonderful, loved it!

Thought I'd spend the time reading something of yours instead of emailing back. _ So all the gushing aside on what an incredibly cool person you are, here's some Bucky feedback:

Wow. In the beginning, I was feeling everything Yamcha was. You did a great job at showing how much he resented Vegeta. It was believable, and I think his animosity was within the canon of his character. Very potent stuff, his bitterness! A couple moments that carried a lot of impact were:

that was not his.

Not his.

Vejiita's son

You wrote that part very well. It really hit home, those simple words. Here's another part where you did a great job at portraying his anger:

Then not even attempt to *save* the woman who had birthed his son? What kind of

lol! Amen to that! Also, it amazes me that - you being such a huge Vegeta fan and all - you were able to portray Vegeta as despicable as he needed to be - a necessary task considering this was all from a wounded Yamcha's POV. The next line I was thinking, "Man! That must have been TOUGH for her to write! lol!"

Yamucha was more handsome and charming than that little troll.

But you know, in that 'moment'...the look that Bulma and Vegeta shared...the one that Yamcha witnessed that made him go, 'dammit...a part of him does care...' - that whole scene was masterfully done. You didn't over do it, or draw it out. It was a moment. Just one. And it was all that was needed for Yamcha to shift gears.

And I liked Trunks' involvement in the end, because I'm sure Yamcha would have considered more than once how it would have been to be Trunks' father...one of his life's biggest regrets, no doubt.

And the final reconciliation with Vegeta at the end was also succinct and done with impact. You showed his emotions well there, too. I was feeling it all the way through!

I enjoyed this one-shotter, and am glad I read it!

I didn't read this the first time it came out, i can't remember why. Most probably cuz i was still engrossed in one of your other fics . Anywho, i think this is a .. oh, can't think of word .. ah! I know! This is a pretty way of showing how Yamucha reacted from the kinda norm that is jerk yamucha. I don't think that's him, i think how you wrote this story is him because he loves Bulma enough to let her go and thats what makes it so cute! Anywho! Must go! Keep writing these great fics!

Oh, beautiful story! I've been laying off the FFN scene lately, mostly due to the lack of energy to find readable material amongs the...um, stuff. But of course, I can always find the goods with you! _ You know, I normally HATE Yamucha, but this is one of the few fics where I actually feel something for him. Pitty? Maybe. But nonetheless, I didn't hate him. Good job!

Is there more to this one? I kinda like it where you left it, but of course there's always room for continuing on.

Really nice representation of Vegeta's character too, as usual. Not extreem, but not OOC at all. Just, well...Vegeta. I hate when people make him into a monster or crybaby :(

*Please* post up more of your old fics for everyone to read. Have you seen the R section lately? There's more NC-17 stuff in there than there was in the old NC-17 catagory! I don't think it really matters at this point. Your too good to keep your stuff hidden.
