I wanted to comment on Kabuto and timing, but there's a more important thing. Which team didn't get through the first test, and why? Since Sakura's team is a new addition, and things are progressing so close to canon that people literally say the same lines, one would assume that 27 teams would pass the first test. Since Rookie Nine is now Rookie Twelve and all that.

I know this story is probably dead, but I thought someone ought to let you know that you are a fantastic writer and that you writing style and humor is truly unique. You've successfully ruined this story by making Reika the most pathetic SI/OC I've ever read.
And I've read a lot.
This story started out so well, which makes me quite sad.

Reika was fighting SO unbelievably terrible, until she finally used the Sharingan and then she actually got competent.
Is it just natural for her to forget she is a ninja and not use gen or nin jutsu? It makes look look uncomfortably unintelligent.

. . . She really used "the plot" to justify joining the exams.
Despite knowing for a fact things are different now.
The last shred of respect I had for Reika as a character has been shredded.

So I thought you were going to avoid them killing. Hence why a ton of explosion tags all surrounding one guy only mildly charged and threw Jinan into a tree, somehow only knocking him unconscious. Miraculously.
Then Sasuke gets to kill.
Why exactly is Reika not only a complete pussy, but also gets absurd amounts of plot armor luck that allow her to remain a pussy?
I was REALLY hoping for Jinan to wake up and slaughter the caravan to punish her for her terrible behavior of being a pussy. I'm disappointed she got away with it. She needs to toughen the fuck up, and also stop being so lazy.
I mean come on, she has access to the entire Uchiha library, and manages to only even learn ONE offensive jutsu?
I'm not sure why she's even an adult SI/OC if she's going to be so hilariously incompetentThis was an enjoyable story, but all these reoccuring issues are starting to become painful.

I'm not entirely sure she could have played that fight worse.
Also, nearly dies, STILL won't use her Sharingan.
Why, exactly, did you have her unlock it at 5? She has yet to actually use it for anything beyond one little test, once, in the entire story. Was it just 'cause you can, but part of your overcompensating to make her trash is her never using it?
