Absolutely love this story. You're true to the characters and I really feel for them. It's been years since I've read fanfiction, but every now and then I get a craving to read and enjoy these characters again. I tried logging in, but apparently I've been away for so long my account may have been deleted. Shame. Anyway, this is an amazing read so far.

Okay, so, I Love this pairing, LOVE all your fic's for them (and your V/H work, too, but, that's irrelevant.) and, even LOVE this fic. I Always LOVE a fic where Squally actually makes the first move for once. (Though still would have preferred for Seifer to make him work a bit harder, but, I never get that, so, I'm used to it.) But. Yes, the big but. It was REALLY pissing Me off that Squall kept on telling Seifer off for insulting, or NEARLY insulting R, but, no, not his perfect little sorcessress-bitch. Like the bitch said 'it's not fair.' (Yeah, I hate her, can ya tell? Another reason I was slightly let down at this fic, seeing as you usually seem dislike her too. And, I like fic's bashing her. not that it is REALLY bashing, as the character really is just this awful, so, more like telling the truth, no matter if your friend or anyone else likes her.) I found it a bit sexist, like, what, the femail couldn't stand a bit of ribbing but can dish it out, but, Siefer is FINE? And, insulting on a relationship standpoint for Seifer. I tell ya, if someone kept ME from insulting assholes, then, let the assholes insult ME without immunity just because they were her friend's? I'd kill that persen, Love or not. Well, it's late, and, this gal is tired. So, see ya. Still a good fic, but, you've done better.

You cannot believe how happy I was to see that you'd come back to this fandom with a new fic. Which, by the way, I loved. You are one of my favorite FFVIII fic writers. Any chance you'll do a fic where Seifer gets Adel's powers and completely goes off script? You know for curiousity's sake... and not in any attempt to get more plot bunnies to flood you. Nope. But seriously, I adore the characterizations of Seifer and Squall. Especially Seifer. I can't wait to see wherever your muse takes you next!

This was so sad, watching a friendship devolve into segmented almost-memories. I hope the 2nd part gives the boys more hope for their future. The original ending of the game was somewhat depressing, to be honest.
