I love you! Thank you for all of these beautiful moments and for giving me an understanding of the dragon that I never knew before. I love that he thinks he's so freaking stupid. That made me laugh so much! Please keep going with these it is making me feel good! I want to see when exactly the dragon stakes his claim on the boy. All of this is incredible!

Omg I love this so much I can't contain myself! I won't kill him because I don't feel like it! Hahaha you are the best! I just recently wrote this scene from Hiccup's perspective so to see it from the dragon's perspective is so awesome!

Wow this one is really beautiful too... the dragon language is so eloquent, and the way you come up with simple fitting names like Beautiful and Gentleheart... and the 'Other Half' thing makes me smile every time! You absolutely nail Valka's initial impression of Hiccup. Like it could not have been expressed or described it any better than that.

Also what you say in your author notes about httyd3 is precisely how I have been feeling for months! There is literally no way for it not to hurt like a b***. It doesn't make any logical sense either. Like I cannot even see a plausible reason for the dragon to leave and never come back! You know? He's family! He at the very least needs to come home! I am praying to the movie gods every day that they bring him home.
What's worse, I'm worried I'm going to end up being angry at the dragon because its gonna be his fault! Like what if all of this is because Toothless chooses to leave? He's gonna break the poor kid's heart. I just have a feeling that no matter what happens I'm gonna feel bitter.

So much in this is amazing! First of all I love how the dragon can smell his emotions, that is genius! Its fantastic how he's so confused... Second I love the ego and the whole 'obviously I can do anything' attitude. Very reminiscent of his rider. Lastly: Squirrel Meat. Omg he nicknamed him Squirrel Meat! Absolutely brilliant!

Aww! So cute, baby Hiccup cuddling with baby Toothless, even if he had no idea. And I love how Hiccup apologises like a dragon in the epilogue.

I too ship them platonically :) So does Toothless ever tell Hiccup why he dislikes the 'No Teeth' name so much, or does he just get over it?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE when people write out the way the dragons communicate! And in this case Valka. I think I honestly like this version better than the way it plays out in the movie. I think they should have bonded a bit before she realized it was Hiccup. I agree that some of Valka's dialogue in the film feels forced or out of place.

This is really good. I can read the same scene from different writers a dozen times over and everyone does it differently. I like your 'stupid'-approach :-) The following scenes would be very interesting: how sees Toothless the development of their contact? What exactly does he get out of this? Or is it mostly a protective instinct and he doesn't even realise what he gets? What role does the flying play?

REQUEST: Could you write a story about Toothless' POV of 'gift of the Night Fury'? I'm not content with my ideas of why he takes off on his own after the helmet like that instead of staying with Hiccup and am continually impressed by your spin on things.
