So, I'm fairly new to this group and decided to read all of the stories from the beginning. Totally loving them-thank you! This one touched me because of a little thing like Catherine using unscented bath products to keep Steve just a bit safer...aahh, there go my heartstrings.

Wow did you knock this outta the park! I knew there was something sentimental at the end, cos I read the tweets about it. But otherwise, it woulda seemed to be a fairly comic piece right up until then, and what an impact! Shit got real all of a sudden, and it was just beautiful. Subtle, understated, but deeply real, just like Steve and Cath.
