I'm glad you've gin us enough clues that we know she is not someone we know very well, if at all. I am sorry for her, but . . . It's one thing to kill in battle or in self-defense; it's quite another to kill in cold blood. Of course, being forced to watch as her niece and nephew were slaughtered can make one less less likely to observe the niceties. That's a good question you've made us ponder.

I love how you're putting a face on the "bad guys." I knew not al, of them had to be bad-and I love how your style changes with each individual character.

Her father's reaction to her death is symptomatic of the whole Death Eater thing, that some human lives are less valuable than others. Well written, as always.
