Your story was great! A lighthearted and funny story, good description, in character, I really enjoyed reading it. The humor was spot on so much that I think it could be an OVA for the show. It brought back to my mind the silly humor of the show and it's a nice change of pace from the romance Toradora is known for. Definitely a favorite for me.

I found it to be funny, I can't help but laugh at Ryuuji's historical error, but Taiga calling Ami a turkey was also funny.

It's been a long time since I watched this anime too (I remember watching it every week when it'd come out) but I didn't think they were out of character at all. In fact, I thought they were perfectly in character. I remember how much I loved this show. I found Ryuuji and Taiga to be a very sweet couple and Minori made me laugh a few times.
That said, I absolutely loved this story. It was very amusing and kept me on my toes. I could easily see this happening in canon.
Very well-written and flowed very well. I loved it! :)
