Oh my gosh you had me laughing like crazy! The humor in this is perfect, and the emotions rag character depicts perfects it. I think my fav part so far is at the end when Mikeyvis doing the whole I'm watching you thing with the eyes. Those always set me into a fit of laughter!

Very sweet, a nice deviation from some of your darker stuff! Also you do funny very well, no worries! I was laughing out loud several times! My husband thought I was Looney!

I like the way you've written the falling star scene - in particular, the way you've used the two descriptions of Donatello to capture the shift in April's perception of him in that moment:

"... firmly rooted to reason and logic, as cold and real as the mud he stood in ..."
versus
"... master of all reason and science, lord of logic and clarity, skeptic king ..."

Same guy, same exact quality (reason / logic), seen by the same girl, yet somehow portrayed as something bleak and flat in one moment then so full of possibility in the next. Really cool.

I loved this story. Loved it, adored it, fell head over heels for it... Just, your writing is incredible and your love for the source material is so obvious in how unbelievably well and passionately that you write all of the characters. I'm Apritello for sure, always have been *and Donatello has always been my favourite in every incarnation* and you captured my dream scenario for them SO perfectly. I was literally smiling the entire time I read this, thank you so much for it.
