One of the best hp fanfics but the relationship with hermoine was disappointing and felt wrong. Oh well

I have spent the past four days doing nothing but read this trilogy and I must say it is one of the top fics on this site. The plot evolved in a cohesive and realistic manner and the world was internally consistent. The characters themselves are well done. This work is very well researched, and the classical references are wonderful (even if some of the literary references went over my head). The feelings evoked by the series are appropriate and the tension is fantastically done.

I know I would have liked to see a longer resolution, but that is just my personal preference and no reflection on the writing style. A solid recommendation!

This was an interesting trilogy. Thank you for writing this. If Harry has never heard of Hermione after that, it seems that she had either decided to live among the Muggles or she didn't live long.

Cannot believe I only just found this series after years of lurking on this website. Fantastic read, and although some of the darker elements passed the point of ridiculous sometimes I really enjoyed it.

At the end there, I thought of a possible result of Voldemort’s attack. Either Hermione or Ginny’s body would be unhealably damaged (total paralysis maybe) and Harry would rebind their soul into Justine’s body, since it has a stasis charm on it. Kind of morally gray, especially if it was Ginny, but it would have yielded some interesting self reflection. I was perfectly happy with the ending, this was just something that popped into my head when Voldemort threw Ginny.

Ollivander saying it takes 30 years to learn everything about wand crafting and Harry is like “hold my beer, I got it in 15.” I’m surprised they kept the sanctuary. The gender segregation worked fine at Hogwarts and Hogwarts is definitely big enough for an increasing magical population with all the empty rooms. The way it is in the 15 years later, it’ll likely be even more empty than it originally was. The whole magical wards give muggles cancer thing seems like a retcon since it isn’t in the first story and the Dursley’s lived in a warded home for 14 years. I enjoyed the whole trilogy, thanks for sharing it.

There were times when your fic seemed too dystopian, too dark. Especially the first two parts were a struggle to go through, but the third one more than made up for it. But I have to give you credit for writing one of the, scratch that, THE most realistic, well-thought out fic I've ever read. Good job and thank you for sharing this.

Awesome and dark. But that's the best combination I think. I also think, that if you changed the names of the characters and some of the setting, you could definitely publish it for real. Love all your stories, especially the HP Crossovers!
