This was adorable, I love it! Having worked in a coffee shop I can confirm that the smiling and politeness is the hardest bit, it makes you feel so fake. Loved to see hiei's method of showing his interest, it was so in character! And now I want another chapter with Kurama's pov! But that's just greedy, it's really perfect as it is. After scrolling through a shiiiiit load of fics with sunmeries starting 'yumi was an abandoned rain kitty demon trying to blend in with her classmates when she met hiei/Kurama blah blah' omg I was so glad to find something with a bit more thought behind it! I thought my fave old fandom was completely gone. Why are the terrible writers the last to leave a fandom? Thanks for sharing
