I first came across this story through Sam's fan comic and I had the urge to read the original. Even without the images, you gave successfully gave life to my favorite characters. This is truly a beautiful story, and I love the ending so much. Kudos!

This was perfect! It felt as a short story should…a complete and full progression. From beginning to end there was not a lazy sentence that failed to show meticulous diction, varied vocabulary, and even flow. The writing style felt fresh, in that it was lengthy and yet every word added to the picture and engaged the reader to keep reading.

Onto the story itself, you kept Beast Boy and Raven magnificently in character! I could hear them talking as naturally as if I was watching the show itself. Beast Boy tried to sanguine and humorous, and Raven had the perfect snap to her. Taciturn, dry, brutally honest but always considerate. THANK YOU for keeping them in character so well! Another gigantic thank you for taking a different creative approach to the Beast Boy drama that doesn’t include Terra or the Beast. When writing tragedy/angst about him, people so easily goes to those subjects instead (myself included) so seeing this take on his future-self was unbelievably refreshing!

As I said before, this story felt so complete because of the thoughtfulness put into it. For example, Robin’s evaluation of the past battles, Raven’s tactfulness, and Beast Boy’s futures. ESPECIALLY, Beast Boy’s future. Instead of going to the typical “he lived happily ever after, married with children, a decorated hero, blah blah blah,” you thoroughly considered all of his options. Beast Boy staying in Africa, for example, as well as gaining new powers.

I fully expected Beast Boy to see a future in which he was in a relationship with Raven, and I was delightfully surprised in the twist. The possibility of a future with Raven didn’t appear until he realized that he loved her, or at least felt for her more deeply than a friend. I actually liked that up until then it was just friend comforting friend.

Raven’s futures were just as a surprise. No wonder she was so experienced with alternate dimensions, because she was constantly looking to see if there was hope for her fate. As Robin said in the show, she was the most hopeful person he knew. It was heartwarming that even surrounded by the possibilities of evil and death, there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Seeing that future would do more for her than for Beast Boy, so it felt right that she would see it instead. Such a satisfying ending!

Loved it, love the comic. I kind of feel that I have peaked at the end but ah well. I take it this is before 'the end'. Everything happens everywhere, be happy it happens anywhere. But if you want your reality to happen here, well to quote a widpse grey wanderer I once knew 'all you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.'

Wow, this was such a great story! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. It was very well-written, and you did an excellent job with keeping both Beast Boy and Raven in character throughout it, as well as keeping their bond/relationship as it was portrayed in the show... That despite their differences and constantly butting heads, they truly care about each other and are always there for one-another. A true bond/friendship that could become something much more. I also like how you integrated (I hope that's the correct word) elements from the comics into the story as well. You did a great job making them fit.

The final exchange between Raven and Beast Boy, particularly what Raven said to him, I thought was very sweet and touching. I was smiling while reading that. I was hoping though that right before the spell wore off and Beast Boy woke back up in his room, that he caught a glimpse of another possible future with him and Raven together. Whether he saw their future selves kissing, holding each other or simply holding hands and looking into each other's eyes lovingly... it would've been a nice additional future. But I was still satisfied that Raven saw such a possible future herself. It actually works better that Raven was the one to see it. And I really liked how seeing it gave her hope that there is indeed a possible future where she finds true happiness. That also brought a smile to my face.

Again, this was a terrific story. I could've actually seen this turned into a bonding episode between Beast Boy and Raven. Very nice concept you used about how "No Future Is Set In Stone". Really gives you a certain perspective when thinking about the future, and teaches you that it's pointless to worry about it as no one knows what the future holds for them. Great job on this, and I hope to see more BBRae stories from you in the future!

Wow. This is definitely one of the rare gems out in the BBRae fandom. Absolutely fantastic! I love the descriptions of the different possibilities and the little epilogue at the end of the story! It was a wonderful job! I understand if you want to leave this as a one-shot, but it would be nice to see a sequel to this! LOVE IT 3
