Oh no, it’s not Logan’s fault, they’d argue anyway! Although the self blame seems IC for him, so…*shru*

This chapter went from serious to funny and back really quick and really well over and over again, it was lovely. Happy Christmas Eve!

That would be a really difficult situation, having their powers switched. I kind of want Aziza to strike again, see what other powers might switch. I'm pretty sure Logan's can't really be switched, though. His healing power, sure, but not his claws.

*huff* Logan, this is nowhere near your fault. I almost want to say it's Erk's, but he just tried to cope the only way he knew how with the wrong person. So, no one's fault.

This is possibly the best thing I have read in a long ass time! I have always loved the concept of accidental power swapping.

Erik getting Charles telepathy? Frickin glorious!

And Charles getting Erik's metal bending? That needed to happen.

It's like their stepping into each other's shoes, physically feeling what it's like to be one another. Erik not being able to control the telepathy is something I always thought was pretty possible, considering he never fully understands the existent of his friends abilities.

I kinda wanted to see Charles lose more control of Erik's, but then again it IS Charles, I'm pretty sure if he got Logan's metal skeleton and Claws, Hanks beastly angry form, or Storms weather powers he'd be able to control them in a instant.

Love Erik's reaction to seeing Future Charles die by the Phoenix, it's probably one of his worst nightmares in this story. And wanting to kill Jean, not a good idea, Erik. It would not a smart idea to pull off with Logan or Scott watching.

Super glad you updated! Seriously when I saw this chapter I sounded like a pterodactyl screeching, I was so happy!

This series is such a fun, guilty pleasure for me and this chapter was fantastic! Thanks for updating!

This is an excellent story but two things.
1: There are quite a few obvious typos you should probably reread them one more time.
2: Like sex scenes you shouldn't write drinking scenes if you don't they come off very jarring.

You write all the characters so well, especially Charles and Erik. I liked the de-aged Charles, he was so cute and I just wanted to wrap him up in a warm hug.

"Mmmm," the child simply hummed as he drew Erik's jacket around his small frame. "...You consider me to be your friend? The older me?" the boy asked slowly.

Now I want Erik to get De-aged and see how Charles reacts and deals with a kid Erik that probably doesn't know how to speak English, probably just got straight out of the camps and filled with painful, memories.
