Wow. This is so good! (Despite the fact that everyone thinks Rex is dead, and Anakin is being a total jerk-face.) Can’t wait for more, I hope Green will be okay, I love him so much, he’s so cute! I’m not finished with what’s been posted yet, but I love it! Keep up the good work.

Just getting caught up on this story. So much emotion and angst in this story! I want to shout at Cody: "But, Rex is alive!" Cody's pain comes through so clearly, as does the frustration of Boil and Ghost at the recent events on Umbara.

Kenobi seems a bit out of character in the conversation in the way he talks about the clones. I see him as an empathetic Jedi so he would have understood the men under his command and not be taken so in surprise that Cody would be grieved by the loss of Rex.

Cody gazing down at Rex's helmet in the beginning and end is so sad and poignant. Nicely done.

This is honestly such amazing stuff I have been moved nearly to tears from all the gut wrench ing loss and death. Hope u add in commander wolffe too I mean he may be all protocol and super smart but the stress would be getting to him too and I'm sure he has a heart like the rest of the troops.

I love all of the plot lines in your story, but the ones with Diode squad are my favorite, hands down. :)
I like Green! I hope he gets better and integrates with the squad, poor guy. It's so heart-wrenching-how accepting of how poorly and inhumanely treated they are. The hopefulness of Green that he might not be disposed of that day, and Diode squad's desperate fear of not being successful. Heartbreaking.

This chapter was amazing. You have such a talent for writing battle scenes. :D
And your characterization is top notch. I'm a sucker for Jesse and Kix and you've made every scene with them (and everyone else) so enjoyable to read. I love the focus you've given everyone in each situation, many of which have been so intense and your characters just flow and grow so beautifully within them.
