Sounds really interesting. I'm in love with fanfics where Sakura doesn't forgive Sasuke right away when he returns, so this seems like just my thing ;D
And the preview is both intriguing and slightly confusing, but it makes me want to read more!

I can't see Sasuke just starting up a normal relationship with Sakura or anyone, and Karin he stabbed just to deal a wound to Danzo. This guy has no romantic life in the series... It's all been one-sided so far...

I'm not saying we wouldn't love to see these two hook up, but keep to the existing story arc: Sasuke never gave a damn for Sakura, or so it seemed at the time. The only time he really showed interest, it was Naruto pretending to be his teammate, and his goodbye the night Sasuke ended up leaving the leaf for Orochimaru's training...

But maybe he sees something he always missed or realizes he had feelings. Still, the way he'd go about it would be different.

How about you start with Sasuke coming to Naruto or his old sempai for some love advice?

Let me tell you a story to give you an idea what it must be like for him: As a teen I was crushed on by a lot of girls and lots of guys were jealous, but I didn't know that! When I looked at a pack of girls, they would whisper and giggle: So I thought they were laughing at me! Guys I barely knew were all being jerks and I got in a lot of fights before finally leaving the school. A girl told me years later the truth of things...

You see how I misunderstood everything? At the very least, the same seems to have happened to this character (assuming he cared at all) so please give some thought to how Sasuke would reconcile his romantic life that is currently non-existent.
